My issue was we did not call ahead for takeout. So ordered and 2 of us went to the bar and have a beer to wait. They changed 9.95 each for tap light Coors. Seriously! Felt I had to leave a tip as well. Not the bartenders fault. $24 total. Even though takeout. Gave them a $20 tip on a $98 food order. $9.95 tap beer. Not import or craft. Ripoff.
unhealthy to eat there, food seating there for hrs, the black lady at front is disrespectful with the costumer, bad really bad experience, i do not recommend to go there

When I got there, I was the 2nd person in line. Comes along a really old man on the phone and looking at the menu. When the first lady in line was done, order taker guy, who saw me waiting 5 minutes ago decides to take the old man's order, and didn't even say, "excuse me sir, this young lady was in line first. Let me take care of her then I'll be right with you." I let it go since the old man looked to be in his 80s & probably never noticed me.
Old man got his order and I took mine, they ran out of fried rice so i decided to wait. The old couple behind me waited on fried rice as well. 5 minutes passed and fried rice came. I went up to continue with my order but instead I was told that he was going to take care of the old couple's orders first. I felt awkward while standing first in line and not being taken cared of. The old couple were confused themselves. To make it shorter, he messed up on the old couple's order anyway and they just took whatever he have them, and their order was also unfinished. They left, he messed up on my order, fixed it. However i ordered two combo bowls the first bowl had a nice amount, but the second bowl of combo dish was much lesser. He looked overwhelmed, apologized, and thanked me for my patience. The only reason why I pretended everything was alright was because he looked like a really young kid, and i was waiting to see him figure it out. Sigh... he was a super nice guy, really nice to old people, does a really nice job apologizing, and talks very nicely all the while. However, no sense of integrity in customer service and everything he does were all in slow motion. VERY slow service. What I experienced was definitely not a "Big" "Bowl" "Express."
I love the Big Bowl restaurant, and have been there many times in the past. Found the Big Bowl Express not far from work in Byerly's with reasonable prices for a quick lunch. The prices on the website are over a dollar less than the actual prices in-store. I don't appreciate going to a restaurant and feeling suckered by online prices to get in the door. I ordered the Orange Chicken, and was surprised to find numerous, not multiple, numerous, what I can only describe to be chicken feathers in the breaded chicken pieces. Yucky. Will not be recommending to anyone. Stick to the regular Big Bowl restaurant.
This was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. We ordered the Sesame Chicken. It tasted burnt and the fried rice was tasteless. I contacted the manager at the Edina location and he was unwilling to take any responsibility for y Th he aweful food! Not happy!
Kung Pao had more CHILI Peppers than Chicken. Same with ORANge chicken, little chicken lots of batter piecea
Absolutely the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. I can’t believe Lunds & Byerlys allows them to be apart of their business. Wouldn’t recommend.
Used to be my favorite place to grab lunch. Bad food and even worse customer service.
