Best WLM Reviews

. The store was clean and their inventory was great. We stopped here on our 4th wedding anniversary trip to Baton Rouge and my wife and I love skull art and they have tons. That being said I can't buy everything I like, so I took 3 or 4 pictures of things I liked but couldn't afford I also kept in mind I'd have these pictures to share with my review. The staff got very uncomfortable because I took those few photos of the keepsakes. They became rude and wanted to know why I was taking pictures. The manager sent someone to ask and she was blunt and rude to us. It's kinda obvious I was photographing only the skulls not their whole store but hey, why care anyways? Why make me feel like I was doing something wrong? I mean idk why but they got defensive for whatever reason. I didn't tell them I was a local guide because I didn't want fake nice, I wanted authentic. I left there feeling embarrassed and kinda pissed off tbh. We spent $62 in total at that store, I'd have thought that earned me a lil respect as a paying customer. Tourists take pics and we were very respectful. I thought wrong and we'll never go back. 3 stars is because it was clean and well stocked. That's all I really have to say about that. ????
These guys were awesome, helped my husband (amputee) park his rig late at night and got him fed. It was a long ride from CA & we were both exhausted. Clean. Friendly.
Thank you.
Can't complain it's a place to park after driving for 11 hrs. Decent parking, despite it being paid only, food as well is decent unless you're picky. Overall, it's a good place to do your 10 hr break. There should be no complaints, but then most drivers expect it to be like some 5 star hotel everywhere they go.
Wow, what an amazing assortment of everything you can imagine to buy at a convenience store or travel plaza. Also love the very large bathrooms complete with a shower. Absolutely perfect if you're on a long road trip and want a real shower versus what's in your RV. The only reason for not giving five stars is their prices on merchandise are pretty high, especially on DEF. Diesel was very reasonable.
Must be almost 10yrs I've been stopping in here, buying fuel, food and drink. Had a 5 star review up, and just replaced it with one star. All because of one passive aggressive blonde cashier with glasses. You're a gas station cashier. You don't get to talk down to many. Nice knowing y'all.
Gas was a little high for the region but it is a more remote spot. The food though was amazing, they had boudin and local Cajun sausages/meats. Regular things too which I'm sure we're fine but we certainly didn't bother trying them! Was just wanting gas and a quick bite on the road but was definitely quite pleasantly surprised to end up with something quite a lot tastier.
Very interesting place, I've not seen a place like it. They had snow globes which is what I was looking for for my snow globe collection, but they also had a large selection of bongs across from a large selection of catholic iconography, an ice cream parlor, a fried chicken restraunt, and most things you'd expect to see in a gas station. Very odd. The people were friendly though!
Everything here is way overpriced!
The gas prices are reasonable but for and drinks it's like way up there. I remember like 3 chicken tenders were 7 or 8 dollars. The staff is like half aware half on their phones or occupied in some other way. Like their looking past you. Anyway for gas good, food bad!...lol
