Pleasant surprise. BBQ plate was perfect. Large serving of coleslaw and crispy fried green tomatoes. Chicken and Dumplings was the other order with okra.
Read the daily special meal. Usually your best deal. Be sure to add the desert of the day, only available on special.
First time here. Portions are small. You’d expect a restaurant size bun for your BBQ if you pay $11 for the sandwich but it was small regular size. Fries were small amount too. Very small. No BBQ sauce on the table at a BBQ joint !!! It was OK. Much like what you’d fix at home. Food not that great.
Staff was so friendly. Place was clean. Nice atmosphere.
This place is a favorite for our family! They have amazing catfish and the best double dipped fried green tomatoes! All their food is fresh and super flavorful and always cooked to perfection! Try one of their daily specials with their turnip greens and cornbread! No matter what you order it's sure to be great!
Bar BQ sandwich was ok but the sauce was interesting, either had too much cinnamon or nut meg. Love the cheese curds and sweet tea. Customer service was excellent and the atmosphere was nice.
Service was good. Got the catfish with green tomatoes and onion rings it was all greasy like the heat was to low or too much was in the fryer.The fries green tomatoes flavor was great but they were soggy. The onion rings were good though
Been here a few times and it never disappoints. The food is always good and the servers are always kind. I had the loaded baked potato last time, really good!
Brisket sandwich was good , but for a $10 sandwich it should have a bigger bun and more brisket.
Ate here weekly as a kid and stopped back through for work. Same amazing aroma when I opened the door and amazing sauce! Staff was so sweet to customers and lots of laughter. Betty would be proud that her legacy lives on!
