What an amazing experience. Flat bread was absolutely phenomenal. The pizza was just like how I’ve had in Italy with authentic ingredients. Tiramisu was good as well! Absolutely love this place. Server was extremely busy so I get it if there are some complaints of slow service, but we had a great time here.
Wonderful pizza with a great chewy crust. Highly recommend the burrata for an appetizer. The pasta is great too. Seems they use fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is nice, would recommend a reservation.
Update 5/21/24: Another beautiful meal for my birthday! The house-made pasta is the star to me, but the burrata is amazing too. All the food was delicious and the patio is gorgeous. The evening weather was perfect too; not too sure how they arranged that. My only knock was one of our cocktails was way too watery and lacked flavor. We sent it back and got a tasty replacement, but the cocktail menu could certainly use a boost. Not enough to cost a star though, and the wine was phenomenal. Bettola is one of my favorite BHM restaurants. ✨
We showed up on a windy Thursday evening without a reservation, but we were seated outside (our preference) right away. We got the burrata appetizer, which all enjoyed. The bread was wonderful. For entrees, we had two pizzas - the Margherita and Mascarpone e Prosciutto, and the Buccatini Carbonara. Everything was great, but the Carbonara was everyone's favorite. That freshly made pasta was absolutely perfect and the flavors were decadent. The space is lovely and service was excellent. We'll absolutely be back.
Excellent Lunch today at Bettolla. Parker was an awesome server! I ordered the chicken pesto pizza and my cousin ordered the Quattro formaggio (additional sausage)— the pasta was D E L I C I O U S
Some of the best pasta I have had in a while. I will definitely be re-visiting! The weather was so nice, we opted to sit outside on the cute patio. However, taking in the interior it is hip, modern, urban and romantic.
First time coming here. Couldn’t have been more impressed. The atmosphere, the service, the FOOD! Wow. So good. Also the food came out super quick. Making reservations was easy too!
The service and food was amazing! Our servers really knew their menus and gave great recommendations for wine pairs. The space has a nice ambience but has narrow walkways and slightly sticky texture wood tabletops. Other than that, everything was great!!
An absolute gem in Birmingham! The food was amazing! They make a lot of their own ingredients like the house made pork sausage they use in the carbonara. The place is a really nice venue dressed up or down! Tons of parking right in front of the restaurant.
The sauce with the calamari appetizer was delicious! The calamari however was overcooked and tough. The pollo pizza was pretty good, the pesto was very good but the crust was undercooked in places. The lasagna was absolutely amazing! Probably the best restaurant lasagna I have ever had.
