Rooms are decent rooms for the price.
They aren't swuits obviously.
But they are very clean & very nice.
Only complaint is sound bounces very easily. So a simple shout sounds like a gun being shot in a tunnel.
Idk who was working when I stayed here but the front desk woman is AWESOME! Super helpful & seems like she needs to be paid more because she works her *ss off. Super sweet and awesome person to have working there. I kept coming back asking for towels and she was as helpful and sweet as ever.

It's an older hotel but undergoing renovations. My room was clean and quiet enough but not quite up to what I would expect from the chain. The breakfast was minimal but would be ok for one morning. I was there for a week so McDonald's down the street was a nice alternative. The staff was great, so that made the stay better. The restaurant next door (Reno's) was pretty good.
This is the worst place I have ever stayed. Booked a room for coming and returning from a trip . The first stay we had to move to three different rooms to find one the was decent and clean enough to stay in . The return stay the room still was not decent, air conditioner made high pitch noise all night, husband finally fixed power to tv by finding an electrical socket that worked instead of the dead plug that was used but of course, the tv was not programmed, my husband managed that as well. we had to plug all the lamps into electrical sockets, phone was apparently from another room but that’s alright since it did not have a cord to plug into the phone jack. No refrigerator in the room, which is difficult since I need to refrigerate my diabetes insulin. I will be sure to talk about this place to my family and friends … impressive only that it was so very bad! AWFUL
I have been a Platinum Member for several years. My wife and I have travelled coast to coast, border to border, and once into Canada. We have stayed almost exclusively Best Western Hotels and I must say the one at Wise, VA was the absolute worst. We had a room reserved almost 4 months. We were given Room 313. The room reeked of some kind of chemical (pesticide?) at a level the would be unhealthy to breathe overnight. I went to the front desk and was told the only other room available was a former smoking room. We checked the room out and it was only borderline acceptable. There was a faint smoke odor, ceiling tiles stained in the bathroom, rough surface (patch?) in the tub. The bathroom door would not close all the way. Internet service kept cutting in and out. The desk chair was severely cracked and worn to the point where foam rubber was sticking out of the seat. The only bright spot was the pleasantness of the check-in desk clerk. She was very nice and gave us a $40 discount on the room.
Seemed to be newly renovated when we were there the weekend before Thanksgiving. Staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable. We also had a good breakfast before taking off after our one night stay.
This place is currently going through the pains of remodeling. I've stayed quarterly over the past year. The breakfast staff member was out sick, and the others did not fully step up or display the "Next Man Up" or "What Ever It Takes" attitude. In my opinion, this is about the best of the options in the area.
This is the worst hotel where I have stayed in a long time. ||Up front, let me say that the staff were awesome. ||The hotel was awful. It needs remodeled inside and out. It’s apparent from the area, and the line of people checking in, that blue collar workers are their main clientele. Not saying anything bad about blue collar workers, but after busting their butts all day, they are likely looking for a place to lay their head and take a shower. We’re probably not assessing the property in the same manner. ||List of things I see during my stay-||-Elevator- dirty, with dead bugs in two corners- there for multiple days.|-Stairwell- Coffee stained on the entry floor, there for multiple days. The carpet appeared to have paint stains from top to bottom. It looked like a construction zone. |-Toilet seat- so old that it was discolored. I’ve seen better in bathroom gas stations. |-Shower- 75% clean. You can see where it was surface cleaned, but was still dirty. The hot/cold water were reversed.|-Room- doors that are old and need replaced. Surface cleaned, but not fully cleaned.|-Parking- not enough.||Overall, you can tell it’s not a property that is managed well or that has had a big investment recently. I would save your money and stay somewhere else.
This was the worst hotel experience that I've ever had in my life. We were first checked into a room that was overtly still dirty and smelled like smoke. The next room was not much better but at least the sheets looked clean. The whole place is really old and gross and smelly. The carpets are all visibly dirty. The breakfast offering was terrible and I've never brewed coffee as bad as this. Get me out of here. This room could have been $30 and I would have considered it too much.
