My first trip to Best Muffler was truly a five star experience. They covered all the bases. If you're looking for a muffler shop that does quality work at a reasonable price, you need look no further.
Have used their services several times. Seemed honest. Work done well. But last occasion the work ended up with a complication. They claimed not their doing. They should have eaten the cost and fixed. BUT we were sent to another place and charged additional $250 to fix it. Generally honest and good. But we have doubts on this show this was handled.
We called to make an appointment to have a small exhaust leak fixed. They informed us they changed the policy you now have to drop off your car and leave the keys and they will call with a quote. We do what was required to have it fixed and they call back the next day and say the catalytic converter is missing and this will now be 650$ to replace. So either someone in Warren cut it off in the night or the shop did. We are now required to fix our car with more parts and pieces than we needed to begin with. So not only was my car not fixed it’s in worse condition then when I left it to begin with. The catalytic converter is missing, the check engine light is on because of the sensors that were cut and the problem was not fixed, it is in fact now way worse and we are the ones held reliable to fix this. This is absolutely ridiculous and they will do nothing to fix it or pay for it. It was in their possession and lost parts but it’s our problem now? I would not recommend this place to anyone. In the photo added you can tell it is freshly cut off and this was sent to us by the worker fixing the car. Please do not make the same mistake we did.
SCAM ARTISTS. GO Somewhere else. They tried to scam me for $1000. Took my ford fusion there to get the brakes checked. The DUDES SON told me i needed brakes, rotors, calipers and hoses all the way around to the tune of 1500 bucks. Took it to my other mechanic and almost lost my tire on the way cuz they didnt even tighten my lug nuts all the way. My other mechanic told me all i needed was back brakes and rotors.
I had such a great experience here. I moved back to the area recently and my mother recommended them. Everyone I spoke with was wonderful, I had a great conversation, they answered my questions and my car was done in less than two hours. I got the exhaust system done from the catalytic converter back and it was a reasonable price, I feel like I was offered the best price, another place quoted me almost $100 more. I will come here again for sure, my exhaust system is so quiet now, I can hear my tire is out of alignment. I consider that a wonderful job well done.

I have typically done all my own exhaust work but when the flange between the catalytic converter and flex/down pipe broke on my Honda I wasn't feeling like crawling under and replacing it and dealing with rusty bolts. A co-worker recommended Best Muffler in Warren. He even offered to meet me there so I could drop it off before work. Their policy is to leave your car and they call you to verify that you want the work done they give you an out-the-door price and will proceed only on your okay.
I dropped my car off early, I wouldn't advise doing so the night before because c'mon, it's Warren. Anyway I had a call by $10 with the estimate for the repair and less than an hour later ingot a call that my car was ready. They welded in, not bolted, a new flexible section and now the car is quiet and not eye-stinging with exhaust fumes like it was at idle before.
I can't recommend this place any more highly. Just be prepared to drop your car off and you'll have a great experience.
Overall it cost me less to have this repaired than the cost of the replacement piece of pipe cost at the cheapest place I could find it. And their work carries a TWO YEAR warranty.
You simply can't beat it.
