I drove 1hr 15 mins to my hair appointment today. My appointment was at 9a and Charity did not start my hair until 10:30a. She rushed through my hair leaving my braids sloppy, crooked, and uneven. There also was not enough hair added to my braids. The ends of my braids are uneven and were not dipped in hot water. Once I got home, I had to dip my ends and redo my ponytail so that it was centered on my head.
I expressed I was not happy with her work and she demanded I pay her $120. I asked her to fix my hair or take off $40 from the total. She started yelling at me and called the police. The police said if I did not pay I would be arrested and I would have to file a small claim. I ended up giving her $40 and leaving to avoid further tension. This is not a $120 job!
So, I went to another salon to see if they could fix Charity's work and I was told I would need take it out and start all over paying $120 to redo it.
The bathroom was disgusting. Urine on seat, dirty walls, and holes in the ceiling. Back room had stuff everywhere as I walked to the bathroom. I was very uncomfortable.
I get my hair braided very frequently and Charity is WORST braider I ever experienced. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AND WOULD NEVER REFER HER.
Thank the Lord for a beautiful woman that has a lot of love for her clients

I'm posting exactly how I was treated on the review, but I would like you to know who I am and what I say.
I got there at 930, I was lost because not from the area, and she came and got me about 2minutes away at the post office. That was nice,, but loyd and rude still,, Then she wants to get paid b4 she starts. I don't ever pay b4 service, but I did figured she may have needed the money as motivated.idk. but she's braiding my hair saying I have a eight inch when I did not infact buy 8 inch I go 20inch she was pulling it apart making it very very thin, basically shredding human hair not synthetic, and telling me that she don't work on this day how her sister was suppose to be doing it and this that and the other. While she's braiding she says that she can not make the hair, I know that it's already made but the way you put the hair in determines the length, this lady did not appear to be a professional braider. She was clueless is to how I asked her to braid, I was patient though I get my hair done on a Saturday, by the time Monday comes 3 braids out, I call her to let her know I should not be losing braids after paying 200 for this style. She told yes you should. You have no hair, I will post a pic to let to see. But I go to get it fixed, and she was very loud and rude in front of customers and family it was horrible experience, I was embarrassed already to have to return then after saying loudly and rude I had an attitude over the phone Because I asked her to fix these braids. I WILL NEVER GO TO HER EVER AND I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE I HAVE BEEN doing hair for 20plus years and I have never encountered such behavior. THE BRAIDERS NAME CHARITY.
I Love Charity and her magic fingers. She always does an flawless job on my braids. I've been coming to Charity for 3 year and every time I leave satisfied. Thank you????
I appreciate the services here. The beautician is always available whenever I call her. She is fast and friendly. Her shop is always neat and organized. There are also other accessories a person can purchase. From handbags to outfits there is something for everyone. I highly recommend her shop.
OWNER IS VERY PLEASANT AND TIME SUFFICIENT.
First time there : CHARITY did exactly what she said and in a timely fashion. I definitely will be back, actually I'll be sending friends and family to her as well.

It was ok at first, but she did a quick job. After a week half my Briads came out. It looks terrible I've never had Chrochet Briads look this bad and she's charges 120 dollars last time I paid 70, this was not worth it..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!She uses a big amount of hair at a time!! The middle looks like a beehive! I would not recommend.!!!!!!!!
