Also der Service ist unterirdisch. Erst einmal wird darauf hin gewiesen daß wir warten sollen, vor uns standen noch weitere 4 Personen, nach langer Wartezeit, an denen 2 Bedienungen absolut immer ignorierend an uns vorbei liefen, keines Blickes wurden wir gewürdigt, kein freundliches, " es dauert noch einen kleinen Moment" kam die Antwort" wir sind nur zu Zweit " das möchte kein Gast hören. Dann haben wir uns auch noch an einen falschen Tisch gesetzt, sehr schnippisch wurden wir darauf hin gewiesen, daß es regnet und da nicht bedient wird. Allerdings regnete es den ganzen Tag nicht. Fazit: wir sind aufgestanden und gegangen.

I recently dined at a restaurant that offered a truly unique experience with its typical German cuisine. The food was undeniably delicious, and the portion sizes were more than satisfying. However, my enthusiasm took a hit when it came to dessert. We ordered the Apfelstrudel, and while its presentation on the plate was superb, it left much to be desired once we took a bite. The Apfelstrudel was still frozen on the inside, which was quite disappointing. While I understand that some desserts are frozen, it was a letdown to be served a dessert in this condition. When we mentioned the issue to our waitress, her response was rather dismissive, which was a bit off-putting.
Despite this dessert mishap, the overall dining experience was enjoyable, and I would recommend this restaurant for its tasty German cuisine. Just be cautious when it comes to the dessert selection.
Cucina tipica Berlinese ottima, ambiente accogliente, servizio ottimo. Da non perdere per chi passa da queste parti. Tempo di attesa medio, per chi vuole andare a cena consigliabile alle 20,00
Of course the locals would say that I am exaggerating, but I would say this is a very good option to experience the typical Germany food while you are visiting the historic places. Our experience was very smoothly, the staff is agile, the food is good and comes quickly and of course there are different options of beer. May have a queue at the busiest times (for example around noon), but it worthy the waiting time.
Rude staff better to avoid if you want to have a peaceful day!
I was with a group of friends there, I asked the waiter a question about the food, she was away so rude, yelling and was almost screaming at me.
She was extremely loud to grab all the guests attention and they were looking at her. when we gave her a hint about her way of talking to us, she said "we are in Berlin", I really still don't understand her statement, I don't think she is a good representative of the German culture in Berlin.
Accidentally found this place looking for drinks and a snack.
Amazing welcome, brilliant service and bloody superb food. Not flash or fancy but proper tasty and very full, but you just can't stop eating it. The beer is also fantastic. Great value too.
Come and try it.
