Eh, this place is ALRIGHT. nothing great with what i ate. I got the number 15 which is the dragon roll and my lady got the number 1 which was the volcano roll. The bathroom was nasty and so dusty, see video linked. the waiter was outside smoking when we arrived and never washed his hands when went back inside. Wont be back.
This is a small place. It does not look like much on the outside. However, when I walked in, I felt like I was transported into a small town in japan. It was so authentic and down to earth. I had the Island Breeze sushi roll, the spicy baked halibut roll, and the spicy tiger roll. Absolutely delicious. I was so happy with my meal. I can't wait to visit again.
Super good service. I asked them if they could swap out shellfish ingredients because of my allergies and they promptly did it. Definitely more food for the price you pay. Taste could be better
Absolutely awesome spot!! I'm soooo happy to finally find a place with both great sushi (for my partner) as well as delicious cooked plates for me. Usually, we find either great sushi or great cooked but not both. Perfect portions, absolutely delicious food (the gyoza is a must!) and comfortable ambience. This place feels like the real deal!
This place is better than Jin sushi. The sushi's always fresh and tasty. J the owner/ server who is very kind and friendly and knows all his dishes. He can suggest something amazing to help you have a wonderful eating experience. They have all the Korean beers. Family friendly and you can always find a seat. No matter what you order your food comes out at an appropriate time. You have to try the bake oysters or the jalapeno poppers. Korean style sushi, I strongly recommend this place ????????
I hadn't been to bento Express in a long time and I wanted something different so many places like love in their food nowadays. I went here the food was better than ever. It was fresh it was hot it was good perfect for the day. I got a teriyaki bento box it came with sushi a salad tempura vegetables and a shrimp tempura teriyaki chicken and I upgraded for fried rice. Can I tell you that their fried rice was amazing. The teriyaki chicken was cooked to perfection it was so juicy. The tempura vegetables were wonderful I think I had like two or three sweet potatoes in there they were so good. And I washed it all down with a Pepsi. The waiter and staff were so attentive to ensure that I had everything that I needed. Absolutely service with a smile. Their food made me smile. Also made my stomach happy. If you ever in Bakersfield near Oak and Truxtun extension. You need to stop at Bento Express right on the corner. You can thank me later ????❤️✨????????✨
The staff is amazing. The sushi is amazing. The chef is incredible at what they do. They have a very comfy and relaxed environment that is never too busy. The service is always fast and great. I never liked any fish or sushi until I started eating their dynamite rolls. Their miso soup is good enough to cure your soul.
Wonderful food here! Their bento boxes are pulled high. It's a lot of food. Their sushi rolls are amazing! Coming from Vegas, I'm used to quality sushi. This place is some of the best I've had. Definitely a favorite when I come to visit family.
