It's ok for togo orders. It's kind of stuffy and the customer service is not great. They got rid of the patio seating so I only do takeout now. The food is pretty good and priced normal for the area!
We really only go here for the teriyaki chicken bowls. Rolls are just okay, pretty pricey for what you get. This is the fast food equivalent of sushi. Don't expect spectacular service or beautifully plated dishes. The interior has gotten pretty run down. Just as long as your expectations aren't too high, this is a decent place to eat a meal.
Everytime I come here it's a great experience. The chicken is always soft and never dry. The salads are seasoned to perfection. The music takes me back to the good ol days. Best place to hang out with family.
We love the Mid Town Sacramento Bento Box, so we tried this other one near Sac State. It was awesome, same Menu. It was the same great food and service. The only difference was this location you walked up and ordered, then you sat, which seemed fine. It was way less busy compared to the Mid Town location, and it has a parking lot, so you don't have to find street parking. It's good to know there is another great location to visit!
Yummy!! Going back didn't realize how big restaurant was usually take food home.
On a visit to Sacarmento, we decided to have lunch there. We must've show up on day that staff called in sick. There was one young lady working the register, prepping to go orders and serving the food once it was ready. The wait to order wasn't terrible. But, there was four of the table in the front part of the restaurant full of dishes and food on the floor (like a little kid ate there) the other tables had people eating. So we went to the back part and there were two tables full of dishes. We did find a table for us to sit.
Now, the wait was not long, the food was delicious and the staff was very nice. Would I go back? Yes!!
Sometimes when their is staff shortage, we should have some grace.
The food was hot in fresh. The prices were very fair overall. A very good experience. I would recommend it to anybody.
Very little food for the price. The Sesame chicken was basically katsu chicken with several hairs fried into the breading. Not a lot of sauces provided for rice and meat. The Teriyaki chicken was good. Overall, we were very disappointed.
