I had lunch with a friend here today and I was NOT disappointed! We had the pumpkin soup, goat in sauce, griot, and plantains, and everything was absolutely amazing! Our server was incredibly friendly and we experienced some of the best service around! We will definitely be back!
Spartan atmosphere, just getting started, so come out and support a local business! Jerk chicken with rice and beans and Cole slaw was the best plate we had. Spicy, super flavorful. Griot was tasty, and plantains are nice dinner food, but I'd go back for the jerk chicken!
Friendly service, and great food! Got the Griot with plantains, and jerk chicken with beans and rice. The slaw, Pikliz (Picklese), that comes with the meals is spicy, sour, and amazing! The pink salad, Salad Russe, is a red beet and potato salad which was also very good. The fried plantains were great and very much goes with the spicy slaw. All the meat was tender, flavorful and juicy.
The food here is amazing. I had the fried pork and my wife had the chiken curry. Both dishes were amazing. Especially the coleslaw and plantains. A true hidden gem in Fort Wayne.
What a wonderful place. Amazing food, and amazing service where they make you feel like an honored guest and an old friend all at once. They make incredible food without a long wait, and the atmosphere is terrific. I plan to go back there again this week.
Amazing 10/10. The jerk chicken and the griot was so juicy and full of flavor. plantains and beans and rice are also great. perfect carribean comfort food. any person would love this food
Never had any type of Caribbean food before and this was a great place to first try it. They have a simple menu but do everything, from what I've tried, very well. Highly recommend the Jerk Chicken and the Beef patties, they were absolutely amazing.
Had the jerk chicken, it was really good and the meat just falls off the bone. It came with rice and beans that were also delciouse, beet salad and a spicy slaw and a broth soup. Highly recommend this place! Service was also really great!
