Southside platform (Platform 2) is the outbound.
Northside (Island, Platform 1) is the inbound to Chicago.
I didn't see it posted anywhere.
Station was closed so there was no place to sit at.
Clean waiting area for the train. Only issue is you are not sure which track the train is coming on so they should definitely make an announcement when a train is coming in to the station so you dont have to run to get to the other track.
If you're new to using the Metra, like I am, this is not a good place to hop on. There is no attendant, no posted information, no maps, no prices, no signs saying which platform to be on... nothing. If you don't know what you're doing, don't start here.
Dark and Dirty. Add some more benches for us who are waiting. Residents should get free parking!! We do pay taxes here!! ????
