A hidden gem in St Charles main street. We had an amazing family time there! Excellent food , the best capeletti and risotto ever, and the dessert, OMG, espetacular! We will be back asap to try the whole menu.
If you love a cozy place and need enough room for your party of 7, you will definitely love this place! Highly recommend the tortellini, flatbread and calamari dishes. Dividing the appetizers with your family/friends/so is a great way to keep the cost down, and enjoy other options here as the food is a bit higher in cost but very delicious too! Portion sizes were just right for the prices.
This is one of the many cool eateries you'll find on the historic downtown St Charles Main Street. What's unique here is the Tapas menu, and with the portion sizes it affords you the opportunity to try several especially if you're sharing because you can try a variety and not feel like you've eaten too much. Top it off with one of their many excellent cocktails and you're set.
We have frequently passed by this establishment and recently decided to visit. The service provided was exceptional, with our server displaying a comprehensive understanding of the menu and offering excellent recommendations. I thoroughly enjoyed the ceviche tacos, to the point where I ordered an additional round. The blackberry cocktail I selected was refreshing and served as a delightful conclusion to the dinner. Similarly, my partner also relished their meal. The ambience of the restaurant, aided by the heaters that maintained a cozy temperature, coupled with the scenic view, contributed to our enjoyable experience. Our server ensured that we received attentive care throughout, and as a result, we have every intention of returning in the future.

I recently celebrated Jensen's birthday at Bella Vino Tapas Restaurant with a group of 10 friends, and it was an absolute wonderful dinner! Allison, our server, provided excellent care throughout the evening. The restaurant's charming brick-lined house in Historic Old Town St. Charles, along with the inviting patio warmed by our table fire, created a wonderful atmosphere.
Bella Vino lives up to its reputation, offering an impressive selection of high-end wines and a variety of creative tapas options. The small plates were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The global wines and clever cocktails added an extra flair to the celebration.
We enjoyed it all… patatas bravas, spicy shrimp pasta, burger sliders, spicy meatballs, calamari, baked goat cheese, flatbreads, seared barramundi, Bella bonfire and the gooey butter cake.
