Very nice waitress, surprising wine and beer selection. Awesome Stromboli, lasagna and pizza! Kids loved it. Would be a nice date restaurant also.
Better quality ingredients than other restaurants in the area. Tried the jalapeno popper pizza (with cream cheese) and it was delicious. Also the cheese bread is amazing. Best marinara sauce I have had in a long time. We look forward to going there again to enjoy more menu items.
I absolutely love this place! The drinks are good and the food is wonderful. I have never found an Italian restaurant where I love the lasagna, it’s always mediocre but Bella piazza has amazing lasagna! Everything on the menu is great! The cooks are spectacular and the waiters and waitresses are fantastic! If you haven’t tried it yet, you definitely should!!
Quaint little place, the only place to get alcohol in this town. Our experience was not at all good. Asked for a margarita, they didn't have tequila to make the margarita, so asked if I wanted it made with vodka or rum? Really!!! Blew my idea for my margaritas, hubby thank goodness had bottle beer. Asked if we would like some bread, we said okay. Brought us cold and hard pretzel like, brought us butter to put on these little hard and cold. I ordered the spaghetti with tomato sauce, asked if this comes with a salad, and was told no that would be extra, so that made my mind up no salad. It came out a few minutes later, and my spaghetti was sitting in water and the tomato sauce had no taste or salt, they do not offer garlic bread, if so that would have been an extra charge. I could only eat 2 bites and I was done. Waitress asked to take my bowl of spaghetti. At this point asked for our check. When checking out I think the owner asked how I liked their spaghetti? In reply I told her I did not like it, and only had 2 bites, she said sorry about that, will have to tell the cook to drain the spaghetti better next time. What they served was not worth the $7.99, and they didn't even try and comp my meal. So if you want a bottle beer that's the place to go too, don't ask for a margarita, because they don't have tequila..
Great food and it's got a bar now too and free wifi
Owner and staff are fantastic and friendly. The waiting staff is prompt and polite. The food is the best Italian around, and I hear the pizza is to die for. This humble Local Guide highly recommends a stop here on the historic Pocahontas Square for some fine Italian cuisine.
P.S. They now serve ales, spirits, and fine wines!
We were seated immediately. Got soft drinks quickly and ordered quickly. From that point, service was incredibly slow despite nearly empty restaurant (4 other tables) and 3 wait staff. Had to ask for straws, silverware, bread repeatedly. Never got the silverware. Got it ourselves from another table. Got bread finally as we were leaving an hour and 15 minutes later after continued requests. Food was overcooked and dry with the exception of the spaghetti which was more water than sauce. Bread was burnt. Took nearly 20 minutes from the time they took our debit card for payment until they returned it. We will not return.
We have been here twice and were impressed both times!!! The wait staff was very friendly and "on it", their red sauce and chicken parm are to die for and my boyfriend loved their garlic cheesy bread! When they have the salad bar open it is fresh and awesome!
