We've eaten here 3x and the pizza is always good. They give you big slices when you order by the slice, but when you order a pie the med / large is much smaller than a single slice for some reason. The atmosphere is dreary but you can sit outside. The staff is very young and not particularly friendly or efficient. So if just want a really good slice that's big, lots of cheese, and a great sauce on a thick and crispy crust this is the place to go.
Just stopped in on a quick hungry whim. Excellent choice!!! My husband and I both ordered a slice and a small sub. The people were super friendly and even told us how to make our order a little cheaper. When the slices came out (his a plain slice & mine buffalo chicken stuffed slice) they were humongous!!!!! I've had entire pizzas that were smaller than them! They were each only $3.75 a slice. My slice was an entire meal. I could only take a single bit of my tuna sub just to see how it was. It was very good also. My husband managed to eat his slice and half his sub. He said it was the BEST meatball sub he thinks he has ever had. Put it this way, I don't leave reviews normally, but as soon as we got into the car, I looked at how to leave one. If you get the chance and you are close, stop in. It's worth the stop! A++++ (I wish I would have taken a picture of the slices before we devoured them!!!)
I called and placed an order for a 16 inch mushroom pepperoni and onion pie. When I got home I noticed that I had multiple different sizes of cuts like it was rushed. I said something to the girl who answered the phone and had a serious attitude with me. I will never order there again. Very sloppy pizza.
Must of been change in ownership recently. Totally different staff and cook, slight counter remodel. Pizza went from berks County amazing to barely edible. Next to zero sauce, zero crust, super thin, undercooked and floppy, zero burnt undercarriage. Their 2 slice lunch special went from $4.99 to $7.50. Pizza quality went from 8 to 2.
Thought maybe it was just a bad day or different cook. Went back 3 weeks later same garbage pizza quality.
Went from weekly go to establishment for years to never going back.
Pains me to say this but I'd take poppa John's over their new inedible Pizza.
Although it's just another pizza place in stature. The people are always really nice, iam getting to know them better.
It's the food the sandwiches are great ,the bread is tasty,soft,and wonderful for sandwich, the meats are always a good amount and have good flavor. The pizza is pretty good to and works great for lunch the next day. Stromboli was good to. We usually order once a week haven't been disappointed yet, good meals every time
Typical Pizza shop menu but at a better price point than the other 2 local places in Oley, and I would have to say better food than the other 2 in the area as well. I was in the pizza business for a very long time before retiring within the last year and would consider myself a pizza snob and at Bella Italia the slices of pizza are gigantic not saying they stand out for the taste because they all pretty much all make the dough and get the ingredients from the same suppliers ... it's the sauce and blend of cheese that makes one from another stand out, but you do get a bigger and better sandwich at Bella. I drive a half hour to get their sandwiches so that should speak for itself.
Anything made with their sauce is absolutely delicious ! Pizza slices are huge and after a few visits-never had a bad meal. Customer service is friendly, helpful and quick. Highly recommended.
The food here was great. As you can see from the picture. The slices of pizza are huge. The slices to order are from their XLRG pizza. They were delicious. I also got the jalapeño poppers. My cousin, who's hand is in the picture. Got the French fries and Italian hoagie. He said his food was really good as well. The atmosphere was a bit different for a pizza place but the service was great. I will definitely go back again.
