I recommend taking a look at all the photos I took of the cabin here.
Came here in December, during the rainy off season. I was a bit suspicious that there are no photos posted of the rooms or cabins, but it was a last minute trip, so I went with it.
I made a reservation for 3 nights in a cabin for $462.10. On check in, I was mistakenly charged $531.05 by the person working there because they didn't know how much the rooms were. They have never refunded the additional cost, stating that "they don't give refunds".
I took several photos of the cabin, and a few videos. We did not stay.
The Belden Town Lodge is a charming and peaceful retreat nestled in the lush Californian wilderness. Its cozy rooms offer a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm, all well maintained and welcoming. The attentive and friendly staff give the place a welcoming hometown feel.
The dining experience at the lodge is a delightful highlight because we are each meal on the back deck so we could take in the serene natural views that surround the lodge.
Belden town is a wonderful place, I'll be back soon.
while hiking the PCT I stopped in for a burger and some beers. this place didn't disappoint!! the Belden burger is yummy and the beer on tap was awesome. the bar tender was super cool and even gave me a ziploc for my leftover tots. they also have a pool table!!!
Only open 2-6 pm on a weekend. Rode up with my son for lunch just to find them closed. We were bummed I used to love this place. Sad that they aren't getting enough business to have longer hours. Ended up riding to Quincy which was still an awesome ride.
Was raised in the canyon my family owned caribou for years first time back up since the fire was very sad to see it after the fire and to see that everything was pretty much a ghost town but happy to see that at least Belden is open a couple of hours each day and as beautiful as ever
No cell service so plan for that. That being said right next to the river. Beautiful dining and patio area. At night the train went by on the side of the mountain and looked like it was flying through the sky. Pretty sweet. Good burgers. They also have cabins. Staff was local and great even when the power went down for half a day. They did all they could to make sure we were having a good time
Got drinks at the bar but came back hoping the diner would open but was put off for half an hour at a time stating they should be serving food soon...but never did over 3 hrs
Place is beautiful and bartender is awesome. Wish we could've eaten.
Excellent drive down 70,, pending time of year. Was there for 3 days.Pictures tells it all.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
