Met a dear friend at this amazingly vibrant place after a long time...super delicious food, lovely atmosphere (except some improvements here and there) and live music was blissful.
Slow service, two other wait staff came over to see if anyone had taken our drink order. Sent back the Surf n Turf since it was overcooked along with the vegetables. Did not want it remade. General manager said they've had such an issue with people sending food back that their policy is you have to pay for it regardless. I refused. Overheard the manager tell the server she'd have to pay for it. She became extremely rude, talking bad about me and stating she wanted me to hear her. Up until that point my issue was with management and was still intending to tip her as I was only not going to pay for a meal that I didn't eat. I paid for everything my family did eat and left.
Edit: she did not offer to have it remade. I sent it back, she said sorry and walked away. When she walked past later, I called her over and told her that I didn't want it remade, that I would pay for the salad. I raised my voice when speaking to the general manager when he repeatedly talked over me, wouldn't listen, and kept telling me their policy was no comped meals. I didn't ask for a free meal. I wasn't going to pay for a meal that was made incorrectly. Please feel free to review any camera footage of the situation to remind yourself of the truth.
To the owner, do something about the music! Who wants to sit in a bar with dead silence! Take take the $5 you make a night off of the Jukebox and invest in some decent speakers besides the one Bluetooth speaker that you use. Pathetic, horrible business practice. You should be managing a drive-thru not a restaurant
Great service. Fresh food my brother and I had a great lunch here. I got the duo fajita with steak and shrimp perfectly made. My brother got surf and turf with 2 sides. His steak was medium and prepared perfectly as well. Although it wasn’t busy when we went I can definitely see this being a family place in a great place to watch the game. Will stop by next time in town !
The food, our waiter and the service were all great Kevin P was our waiter and took excellent care of us.
On the other hand one of the waitress was mad about something and our entire meal was listening to her complain, call someone and complain more. She constantly reprimanded other workers. She needs to know the customers do not want to hear her complaints. She was over bearing and totally disrupted and ruined an otherwise pleasant afternoon. Had we not been previous customers we would not return
I ordered twenty wings on "Wing Wednesday" and requested two different sauce flavors. However, when I arrived to pick them up, they were all in one container. I understand times are tough, but it was disappointing. I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra to have the wings with different sauces in separate containers. Apart from that, this restaurant is great, and I'm glad it's surviving. That's why I make an effort to support it.
Greeted me an my wife nice person took our order and when the wings and fries arrived we checked them out. Sorry to say the wings were a little bit over cooked but the fries were perfect. Come to find out the cooks are from India, they will do better.
I dined in by myself. Kids were away so mom go to play hehe. Kevin P was a delight. There was some confusion on who's table it was but I helped make the decision and ask that Kevin remain my server. Although the restaurant did not "seem" to be very busy all the staf made sure that they were not just sitting around waiting for some one to show up to be served. I do have to say that as I sat and observed there does seem to be some tension between the servers regarding table it doesn't seem very organized on who takes the next customer. Other than that the experience was all in all great and I will more than likely be back
