My wife and I have dined at the restaurant many times over the last 20 years. In fact, we were married here. Each year we have our Christmas eve dinner at the restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice and the food is excellent. Our complaints are minor but prevent us from giving 5 stars. When we are seated, we typically get offered a table near a door where constant foot traffic occurs while you are eating. We politely asked if we can have a different table but are told every table is reserved. I don't think the restaurant allows you to reserve a table so the server is probably mistaken. This year the servers seemed a bit inexperienced and confused. We waited for long periods of time to get our dishes. Other tables surrounding us received their food very early, although they arrived well after us. These are little things that can all be corrected but we feel that after so many years and giving Bedford Village so much of our business, they could treat us a bit better on a consistent basis.
We went with friends for dinner. We did not stay over. The Inn is accessible from the highway easily. The ambience is elegant and quiet. Food was superb. The service was excellent.
Wonderful stay. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The restaurant food is outstanding. My agent Hila was so helpful and caring. The entire experience was fantastic.
Went to the Tavern twice in the last month - once for dinner during the week and once for brunch on a weekend. The food was really good both times with plenty of options. We didn’t have to wait for seats either time (party of 4 both times). The service during the week was really slow. On the weekend, it was fantastic. I think it really depends on the waiter. Will definitely come again
We ate lunch here. The Tavern is cosy and casual, like an old pub. The dining room is more fancy and formal. Both use the same lunch menu and both are very nice. The food was delectable! Delicious and very nicely presented. The service was superb. Very happy we stopped in. Highly recommend
Will definitely be back to the BVI soon for brunch again and maybe even to try out dinner. First time here for brunch but won't be out last. The Bedford Village inn is classic, quaint NH. Brunch started with mimosas and oysters,then moved on to eggs Benedict and a French dip and ended with coffee and a slice of coconut cake for two. The food and service were both great!
We've enjoyed the restaurant on 2 occasions. We found top-notch service, excellent cuisine, in an elegant dining atmosphere.
We look forward to many more visits!
Shared a romantic evening with my girlfriend. The experience from the front desk to the fine dining was exceptional. Food was amazing the rooms were clean and cozy well stocked. Will definitely recommend and return.
