Never, EVER order ANY fish here, that real talk. The food overall is good, and as the other reviews state customer service definitely needs work, especially the cashiers. The food is expensive so you are expecting better attitudes when you paying top dollar, but don't look for respect from the cashiers. They charge for the condiments too, so if you do take a chance and order fish, you will have to pay extra for an add'l tarter and/or hot sauce more than 1 packet. I had the oxtail which is very good, rice and peas, and yes, they WILL roll their eye is you want oxtail sauce on the dry rice and peas, and collard greens. This plate cost approximately $30, but it's worth it!
The food was pretty good! They have a great location too! I'm sure they will be here for the long haul because there is no other soul food spot close by. I'd stop by again.
I wish they had inside seating, but its probably best since it is Co-op city and those young kids do THE MOST.

We've been waiting a few weeks to get food here. The lines were always so long. We went on 4/26/24 and the music was good. The service was good. She was very patient and explained our options. The blackened catfish was delicious. The Mac and Cheese was like my Granny's. We'll definitely go back
I was overall impressed with the quality of the food. Its something different from the usually selection in the area. The staff was friendly and the place is clean and spacious. I had ordered the Jr combo from the lunch menu. It was affordable and there was no wait time. I really enjoyed the pink lemonade, Cajun fries, and shrimp. The collard greens were ok, the fried fish was good but a bit greasy. I look forward to trying some of the other items on the menu.

Bed Stuy Fish Fry has a 2 for 1 special on Whiting meals; I got that for me and family member with sides of Mac & Cheese and yams; also ordered an all Shrimp to split. The sides were ok, the Whiting was greasy and not fried crispy enough for my liking and the shrimp were probably reheated because they tasted stale. I love fresh food, so I don't think I'd take a chance and order again.
The portion of my chicken scampi was decent, $16.00 , it wasn't horrible cause I managed to eat it all. There was a sufficient amount of chicken in the pasta, but I dont think everyone might feel the same way. It was chopped chicken bits on top.
The catfish/scampi n chips $21.00 for my friend. It needed seasoning on the fries, shrimp, and fish. The food felt more commercial. The only thing that helped the fish was the catfish flavor that made it through. He didn't finish his.
Staff was attentive and ready for us to order.
Seemed like the manager or boss guy was there, and he guided us to how we could order, which helped a lot.

Good prices for the amount of food you get, quick pick up, food is delicious and fresh. Been here twice and Both times have been a good experience.
Bought $100 worth of food and it was great! I do not want to go to any other location so please reopen asap. You have made your mark! Everything was immaculate the Mac was better than any fast food! The shrimp on top of the salmon had a touch of cayenne pepper and I can not take any spice but this was the only thing I’ve ever had fast food that was tolerable! Please do not put any spices in your food. Potato salad is a tad bland easier to season than have ppl complain! THE FOOD IS PERFECT! Husband had Turkey meatloaf mash Po cabbage and blackened salmon he rates a 5 star as well ????????????????
