He is always so fast, I've never had any auto work really done but his prices seem fair.
I haven't used this business, but I must sarcastically commend the fact they drive like they're drunk, swerving over the road and almost causing an accident. Speed limit? They're proving you just need to ignore the lines of the lane to need their service. Their terrible driving almost did cause an accident when they swerved into the right lane to pick up the broken down car on the side of the road. Terrible terrible driving.
Very positive experience!!! Beck's Auto Repair Shop is a REASONABLE, LOYAL, RELIABLE & HONEST AUTO REPAIR SHOP????! I would recommend anyone who needs repairs. To take their vehicle there for Repairs.
Doesn't have rentals/loaners that I know of. Although, he does get your vehicle repaired in a decent amount of time.
This place is the top shop in the area! He knows vehicles inside and out! Also fast response towing with extremely fair rates! A+++ Thanks!!
I wouldn't recommend this business just based off the driving I witnessed from a flatbed driver driving into and through Rochester from 9:25 to 9:35 AM this morning, 03/29/2022.
I watched the driver enter the US52 south 60 mph zone going 75, he camped in the left lane for several miles, and lastly cut off a driver while changing lanes from the left all the way to the right in one motion just south of the 16th St SW exit.
Do better. That was frustrating to watch.
I've called Beck a few times and he's always got the job done. The man works fast and does a good job. Pricing is fair, keep in mind he stays very busy being one of the only towers in the small town Pine Island. Give him a call if you need a tow.
This Saturday a friend's nearly new old Ford broke down in my driveway. Power/accessories came on, but the car wouldn't start. Shifter was locked in (P)ark, but the car could be pushed and rolled. We called three Ford dealerships and two tow companies. No one had any idea what the problem might be, or would come on a Saturday. Except Tony. Within 15 minutes, he had the car hitched to his trailer. And then he popped the hood, and after a moment called out, "Want to save yourself a tow?" Within seconds he had identified where the shifter-cable popped off a nub. He gave the nub a little push and the car went into park. He wriggled the cable and it's grommet dropped onto the nub. At that point he offered to literally let us off the hook. But the grommet was clearly loose and we opted to have him tow it to the dealership where they could install a new cable. Tony could have installed one, too, if he hadn't been booked all the next week. I really admire someone so honest and helpful that he would forego being paid for a job after he'd already gone out on a Saturday afternoon and gotten hooked on. Tow truck drivers sometimes get a bad rap. If you want someone trustworthy, here's one heckuva good guy.
My car has been at this shop for over 2 months now. It went in needing a new motor which should take about a day.. maybe a week if you keep putting it off. not only is he dodging my calls and sending me to voicemail but when I do get ahold of him he promises me a day and then when that day comes, he stops returning my calls. I was referred to him by a friend so I did pay him in full, I learned the hard way not to ever do that again. I will never do business here again and I will be spreading the word about this shop.
