Best WLM Reviews
We pass this restaurant maybe once a week. We finally decided to stop and try the food. I was blown away to find out they serve poutine! At this point I realized they serve Canadian food here! I ordered a viking burger and a side of poutine (French fries, cheese curds, and gravy). I even took the time to talk to some of the customers to find their opinions. One thing I was told was it dosen't matter what you order here, all the food is good. I was vary happy to enjoy the good food that BeCe's Kitchen cooks up. Next time I might try the philly cheese steak! I heard it is great!
I have been to this restaurant many times. The Pork Schnitzel is out of this world and so are the gravy and mashed potatoes. They also make Princess Cakes which are mouth watering and so good. The owner is friendly and kind. The food is fresh. I would like to address some of the nasty reviews. This is a small business that is operated by a busy husband and wife. This isn't a franchise that's been in operation for 30 years (I enjoy supporting small businesses). The food is cooked fresh. This means that you might be waiting a few minutes. As to the allegations that the owner is unkind, I have been to this restaurant more than I should admit and the owner has never been rude even when the restaurant is full and very busy. Long story long, I highly recommend this restaurant for its charm and great food!
Three stars with possibilities...
They are trying, but just need to work out some start-up kinks. The schnitzel was good, and so was the mashed potatoes & gravy. Next time I will pass on the red cabbage--I didn't care for the clove in it. No Coke or Pepsi products, but there is 7-up and RC. Don't forget to try the homemade dessert.
We loved it. So happy we don't have to drive so far when we want weiner schnitzel and the rhubard pie was scrumptious. Can't wait to go back.
What an amazing home away from home. You can tell it's home cooked by the love they put into it. I just love the atmosphere of the restaurant. I love the menu, so far my favorite is the Swedish's meatballs. The owner makes you feel like she has known you forever. I'll be coming back again and again!!
They serve Polish and Swedish dishes cafeteria style. Pierogi schnitzel and Swedish meatballs are all good and flavorful. The menu offers a limited number of choices. They are still experimenting with their menu and time of operations. They feature $10 meals which provides decent portions considering the price. The staff is friendly and accommodating. If you like ethnic food this is worth trying.
Just ate lunch at BeCe Kitchen in Sun Lakes. Oh my goodness! The food was delicious! My husband ordered Swedish meatballs i. Cream gravy with mashed potatoes and a side of homemade sauerkraut. Very good. I had a stuffed cabbage with red cabbage and sauerkraut...a bit unconventional but so very good. The stuffed cabbage was so flavorful in the red sauce. We also sampled the peroiges and the hunter stew which were also wonderful. I can hardly wait to return. Leave room for dessert - they look marvelous.
I did takeout there with my family. The diner was clean and cute. The staff was really helpful and friendly. I had the Perogies with vegetables. I really enjoyed it. Everyone really enjoyed the food. For 10 dollars a plate the food was good and quick. Recommend giving it a try.
