Best WLM Reviews
This place is located inside of a food hall. Food was average, I got the beef bulgogi and shrimp pancakes. Bulgogi dish was filling but nothing special, the shrimp pancakes were my favorite, I'd probably order just that next time. Overall a good option for Korean food.
Got a build your own bowl. Cashier was friendly and good helped me through the menu. Portion and price is comparable to New York City. Vegetables were fresh. Could use some more sauce though.
Bought the 8pc shrimp mandu as appetizer for family and the brunch beef bulgogi for my entree. Service was great. Seems the only booth at rHouse that uses pagers to let you know that your food is ready. Loved both and will get them on future visit. Both were really a bargain compared to other booths.
I don’t quite understand why this place has such horrible reviews. I was pretty well satisfied with my beef bulgogi bowl. The entree was beautifully served with a healthy amount of beef and vegetables. I found the tension between the sweet and hot sauces tantalizing. Bianca, the cashier, helped me pick the perfect sauces when ordering.
My bulgogi bowl came with a bit too much (perfectly cooked) rice. To compliment the rice, I ordered extra beef to throw into the bowl. The extra bulgogi beef I ordered was way too salty (and I love salt). Also, my dining partner said that the spicy ramyun he ordered was “nothing special” and that he “could have made the same thing at home.” For these reasons, I am only giving BeBim four stars.
Has gone way down hill. I had ramen here before and it was decent.
Just had it again this past Tuesday, and it was obviously made using instant noodles, and it was not even fully cooked (still somewhat dry and chunky and full of instant noodle taste), and it cost ~$15.
Will not go there again.
When Be. Bim first opened it was amazing. The food was 100/100, the service was great but i watched overtime the decrease in food and service quality. Today i stood in line for about 10 minutes and the ajumma working there looked at me did not service me the entire time. Then a white man came behind me and she took his order. I watched her take every white mans order in the line and ignored me. Very strange. No more Be. Bim for me. I don’t like mistreatment. I will take my business somewhere else, that accepts me.
Ehmmm so, the meat was good!
Downsides - it’s pretty overpriced (I’ve never been to a korean restaurant where you had to pay for kimchi before), and the menu didn’t have many options. The main menu offers a build-your-own rice bowl or ramen and then some mandu/pancakes as sides — if this place was branded as a bibimbop place rather than KBBQ, I would feel less slighted. If want to eat korean food, I’d say go somewhere else.
Decent if you’re in the mood for Korean styled food. Fresh ingredients and, although small looking, was pretty filling. Would I say it’s amazing? No. Would I come again? Yes.
