Can't believe that they charged. 50¢ for bag when I spent $20. They are bad business people. One last thing they don’t volunteer a receipt so if you need one ask because I forgot to ask for mine. Being mad about that expensive bag.
If you've had a bad experience and then decided to give Beauty World on College Drive in Clementon another chance, you may want to think again. They have workers there that are so rude and don't treat their customers with respect.
My mom, baby and I went out to relax at the park today and take a walk. After we were a little hungry and decided to get a little snack at the Pretzel Factory. After leaving there I remembered I needed hair clips and there was a beauty store a couple stores down, so we went in.
Well I bought the hair clips but when putting my clips underneath in the baby stroller we had to move the things that were already there which included our jackets, collapsible chairs and some soft pretzels we just bought from The Philly Pretzel Factory. My mom had asked me to grab the pretzels so she could take one out before putting them back underneath and leaving, so I handed them to her and she took one out and the young man behind the counter rudely barked out, "you can't eat in here!"
My mother than replied, "okay, I didn't know and no mustard is on it", since she had put some on the one she had before she thought maybe that's what he was so worried about. He then exclaimed, "I don't care!"
As a representation of the store he could have easily relayed the policy in a nice and calm manner, she didn't even take a bite, but instead he chose to lash out in a way that created bad feelings and brought up memories of other rude moments at that store like the stalking, the general sour demeanors and the hurried transactions.
Moral to the story, treat others as you would like to be treated, don't be so quick to anger and try to be kind especially to someone who has just paid their good money to pay your bills.

The Philly Pretzel Factory is giving out free pretzels today, so stop by and get yours, then feel free to patronize this nice business and get some cinnamon pretzels, cheesesteak pretzels, other fun combos or just more delicious plain pretzels with all their fun new sides they have. They're soft and delicious and I enjoyed mine thoroughly, I hope you do too.

New to area and wandered in. Was immediately asked if I needed help. I said I was just looking and I was left to just look, like I wanted to. Found one product that I would have paid twice as much on line for. Have many very good, natural products. I bought an eyeliner, lip liner, brush, 2 oils, clear lip gloss and paid less than $20 for all. Everything I have used I have been more than satisfied with. Will be visiting this store again.
I've been going to this place for several years now because they are less expensive than other beauty stores I've been to. I'm big on customer service and the Asian lady behind the counter and the Asian man (I believe the owners) are always very nice and polite to me. Very patient and helpful as well. Sometime I''m indecisive on what I want and he consistently takes the time out to help me choose by opening the product, allowing me to compare texture and color...with a smile...I've read some of the negative comments and it has me wondering if this is even the same person since I've NEVER encountered anything other than respect and courtesy from them...they also give me free sample products with each purchase and have been consistently over the years...
The owner profiled me as soon as I walked in and followed me all over the store. I thought putting my items I wanted on the counter would let him know I had money would help but it didn't. Every aisle he was there 6ft away pretending to be on his phone. There were no shopping baskets either. All his wigs looked greasy and outdated then when you asked for one in a package he said he was out and only had the display. I think people in the area put up with his behavior because it's the only beauty market in the area with ethnic products but I was just passing through and have no problem shopping online.
Very nice and friendly customer service. Prices are great.
The owner was very patient with me and did not rush me at all; Especially when it was very close to closing time. He was so kind and didn't mind opening packages to show me different ponytail styles.
I will definitely drive back to this beauty supply store even if it's 45mins away from my home it's worth it .
We felt really unwelcomed, they were rude to my friend due to her being white and made her feel unwelcome and tried to jip her for her money. We were also unable to pick out our own hair in the price range we wanted. Was very unorganized and unwelcome, we took our business elsewhere and got better service and better prices. Go across the street if you need anything at Lindenwold Beauty Supply much nicer, better customer service, better prices.
Beauty world was a great place to go to they carry a large number of several different types, kinds,colors,of anything your heart might desire. When you walk in there is so much to look at that it is hard to make your selection.
