Yay!! I love the blonde pieces that Marsha gave me today. She nailed it! I also love the positive, fun, and warm-welcoming energy of this salon.
Marsha is a master stylist. Very helpful, encouraging and confident. She knows what's she's doing. I am biracial and have a lot of VERY curly frizzy hair. She had me in and out in 2 hours with a color and blow out. She's also the only person I trust to cut my hair. She is excellent, she tells the truth about what I need and always does exactly what I ask for.
Simply the Best!! Marsha has been our stylist for over 23 years. Doesn’t matter where we have moved throughout the years, we always make it back to Jersey City to have Marsha cut, style, color and Keratin our hair.
My daughters and I have healthy and shiny hair, and that’s all due to Marsha’s guidance and professionalism. Also, very important that I mention that one of my daughters has Down syndrome and Autism, and she allows Marsha to cut and style her hair and has been doing it since she was 4 years old. She is now 27. Marsha truly cares about her clients and you will experience it from the moment you walk into her salon.
Got my hair cut, colored, and blow dried. It came out to $65 before tip which I think is a reasonable price. The color came out darker than I had hoped but that’s my hair’s fault I suppose, and the cut is just what I had asked for. Only issue was that it was freezing inside, so if you’re planning to go on a day when it’s cold out I’d recommend wearing a sweater and some warm socks.
Great salon to do your hair or bring your kids. Marsha is amazing. She blows dry my twin 4 year olds hair. She was friendly, loving, and professional. My girls can't wait to get their hair done again.

Marsha is a consummate professional who always works to ensure the highest quality and service. When I observe other people leaving Marsha’s chair at the end of their haircuts, they are usually beaming with pride and confidence as Marsha’s abilities always help create the best look for a person.

Best place to get a beautiful hair cut. Staff is very supportive and even suggest you about suitable hair styles. I was there on experimental visit. I wanted to change my look of long flowing hair to something more trendy. So I decided to go with long Pixies. Marsha, my stylist gave me a beautiful look and I will be grateful to her. Loved the way she did her task with finishing and speed. Even they shared my before after pictures on my request. I am very happy with their service and definitely recommend it if you don't want to spend a huge amount on haircut and yet want a perfect look for your day.
Don’t go here better off somewhere else. I was charged 30$ just to sit under the dryer. I washed my hair before I got there my blow dryer stopped working so I went only to sit under the dryer for 35 minutes. No salon product was used on my hair and my hair was NOT blown out. They charged me what they charged prior when I got a full Wash and set and blow dry. Ridiculous and the lady does NOT know how to properly comb curly/coily hair. She used a PADDLE BRUSH and brushed from the roots taking so much hair out then she proceeded to go over it with a fine tooth comb that is not worth 30$. Go to Urban Rose by the Journal square path station they fixed my hair at an APPROPRIATE PRICE.
