Vicky is absolutely amazing!! She transformed me to a beautiful platinum blonde! She is so sweet and her salon is spotless she is so nice and I will definitely going back to her !!

Got a Groupon voucher.. for the Keratin treatment and a hair cut, very good price , we schedule and appointment and Vicky was ready for me, while there I requested hair color too ( paid extra for this) which was done first, then the Keratin Process was fast, vicky has some nice hands for the washing, explained the process and told me what I need to do for the next days, very informative. Thanks Vicky !

I have wavy hair and I have begun growing it long for half a year now. The gentleman who cut my hair listened well to all my requests and even suggested a few things and left it up to me if I wanted to go with it.

The entire process from making an appointment to the service and after service was very professional. The barber was incredibly friendly as well.

I had booked all this with Groupon as well. Very happy and highly recommended!

Edit to the review: the owner stated I should call the salon. Well, I tried for a couple of days and no one answers their phone. The phone goes straight to a cell phone voicemail as if they have call forwarding or something. I've tried calling around 11 am, 2 pm, 3 pm during business hours. Save your money and go elsewhere!

This salon gave me the worst experience of my life.

I came in looking to get a cover up of my outdated hair color. The lady, Andrea, didn't match it anywhere close to my natural hair color.

Worst part of this salon is that the owner, Vicky is very rude and cold. She's selective on who she chooses as her clients. She's the type of person that only cares to collect your money. (She's fake)

My sister (who came with me) felt the same way about Vicky.

There is more behind this statement but this is the brief synopsis.

Stay away if you don't want added aggravation in your life and you want at least decent service.

We traveled very far to this salon from a different state and I regret that we did.

I recently moved to Staten Island & needed a Keritan treatment. I highly recommend Hylan Hair Studio. They fit me in on Short Notice. Vicki was so sweet & did a wonderful job on my hair. I came in with a Groupon & she guaranteed me this would always be my price. The place is also very clean & I will definitely continue using their service!

Came here on a groupon for a Keratin. Got an appt the same week. They did a really good job and they were really nice! If your hair is longer than shoulder length, be prepared to pay extra (with groupon). At the end, they gave me a good locked in price for future treatments and I will be going back????

Be warned... the owner, Vicky, wanted $80 MORE on top of the Groupon purchase to keratinize my hair. My hair is not long. She really shouldn't do that when the salon in the next lot is amazing and doesn't over price. It is called Who Cuts Your Hair - 1880 Hylan.
