Best WLM Reviews
The restaurant is located on the first floor, up a set of stairs and to the right. One should order at the kiosk and they'll call your order.
While the pearls/boba are of good quality and perfectly squishy, the tea (I got the peach oolong) didn't taste the best. They do charge extra for non-dairy options, which is a little disappointing.
The store itself is set up quite nicely and has lots of seating area for pairs and a booth by the entrance.
It is also interesting to note that all drinks have the option of adding a shot of tequila or vodka for $3 which is quite interesting
Ordered a large Passion Fruit Green Tea with bubbles ($8.5 tax included) and medium Rose Honey Milk Green Tea ($7.4 tax included).
Passion Fruit Green Tea: Good bubble texture but the passion fruit green tea is HORRIBLE— no tastes of passion fruit or green tea. Simply tasted like ice cold water with slight hints of tea.
Rose Honey Milk Green Tea: the white bubble texture is okay— feels like jelly more than regular bubbles. Some of the bubbles came it clusters: The Tea itself has no rose or honey or milk or green tea flavor. It tasted like lychee flavored juice.
The price is a little bit over but you can’t complain too much because it’s Georgetown. But I thought the quality of drinks could be better.
Good boba tea! Tried the Brown Sugar Milk Bubble Tea and the Thai Milk Tea. First was nuanced and on the sweeter tea - but it's no mystery why it's one of their most popular. Thai Milk tea was good too and also ran on the sweeter side. Note - sweetness is customizable and they deliver with a stable cardboard base that keeps the drink's complexion as if it were just made.

I ordered the brown sugar milk tea and it was good, nothing special really, but decent compared to other milk tea that I’ve tried in DC. The M size is pretty big already. I also loved the popcorn chicken, but I’m not too sure why there’s also breaded diced ginger, funny prank if you ask me. My number nor name wasn’t called either, so it was a bit of a guessing game. Overall, it was good.
The Thai milk tea was pretty good. You order from a kiosk on the wall and then they make the drink behind the counter. Not much interaction with them but the place is nice. There is seating for about 10-12 people inside and it is a small shop. You can add a shot of liquor in your drink for about $3. I don’t know what all the bad reviews are for but the place was good.
I was initially hesitant from the lower reviews of this spot but I had a great experience here. Came by on a Friday around 8 PM and the place was pretty empty. You can order at the kiosk and it’s easy and fast. My drink came out almost immediately. I got the honey ginger Jasmine tea at 50% sweetness with Crystal Boba. It was perfectly made and tasted fantastic. The ginger was definitely front and forward so there was a pleasant spiciness through the whole thing but the honey provided just enough sweetness against the subtle Jasmine. The crystal boba absorbed the strong flavor of the ginger syrup so well so it actually had great flavor and chew. Overall great drink. Service was friendly too and refilled our water bottles. Will gladly come back anytime.
I started visiting this boba shop regularly from late 2020 through end of 2021. I recently came back a couple times and this last visit was Sept. 28. My friend found some melted/burnt black residue (we thought melted plastic mixed with sugar???) in his drink and showed it to the employee who offered to make him a new drink. He made a face at the boba pot cooking but served it to my friend anyway. I didn’t order boba in my drink but later sucked out a plastic shard from mine. As a longtime customer, I’m upset with my experience. It would be a shame to stop visiting here because decent boba is hard to find in the city.
I love this boba place! Even when I come at night the boba is soft and yummy. Pictured is large thai tea and brown sugar boba - delicious not too sweet considering. Service was fast and helpful.
