Phenomenal food, do not miss this! We got the chicken and half rack ribs, it came with fries and pickles/kimchi - everything was perfectly cooked and truly the best bbq we’ve ever had! Meat was juicy, pickles were brined perfectly, and the chef made bbq sauce was vinegary in the best way. We were blown away! Highly highly recommend and we will definitely visit again ????
Fantastic meal! Such succulent meat and the flavour profiles are just right. Really great pickles. Ordered the brisket, mac & cheese n black beans which had pieces of pork belly in it. Yumm. If you’re going to the Haleakala national park, make sure to hit this place up, just 10 minutes away.
Big red flag outside, caught our eye on the way out to Ulupalakua and stopped on the way back. 1/2 rack (6 bones) BBQ pork ribs, beef brisket with sides of pickles with onions and kimchi cabbage very tasty got our food really quick. It's food truck is tucked away in a little parking lot across the street from La Provonce in Kula
Best BBQ ever and I've eaten a lot of bbq! We tried the chicken, ribs, sausage and pulled pork. Everything had great flavor, juicy and tender. Even the pulled was tender and juicy which is hard to pull off. The sides were really tasty as well. Reasonably priced and worth the drive!
Seriously ono grindz. Great couple of folks running this place who obviously take great care and well deserved pride in their food. We had the meat combo with slaw and pickles for sides. It fed the four of us nicely. Please go here, but don’t get angry when I cut the long lines these folks deserve.

We stumbled upon this little gem after visiting Haleakalā National Park, and we were pleasantly surprised. The BBQ chicken was moist and delicious. We sat at the dining area which had a great vibe. Kids had a great time. Amazing experience.
Absolutely incredible. We stopped here on the way up to the volcano for sunset. So glad we did, I was blown away. We had the pork rib and pulled pork sandwiches with Mac and cheese and beans as side, I couldn’t stop saying “Wow”. Such friendly service also, and eating it on the side of a volcano is a unique experience in itself
