I didn't realize that this is a (very) dive bar. There is a photo in the reviews of a very nice restaurant that is not this place. There is also a photo of a hut facing/near the beach, that is far from this subterranean location. There is a very loud jukebox and some kind of major construction going on.
The quality of the food was mixed. I had the jerk chicken egg rolls, which were very good. I also ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which was very basic and flavorless. I couldn't find any trace of the spicy mayo it mentions, so I put a little bit of ketchup on it. Normally I would have requested some on the side, but the service was not friendly and this didn't appear like a place where that request would be well received. It does appear that others who were there know it's a dive, but even as a dive bar, the ratings I gave here are accurate.
AMAZINGGG FOOOD????!!! Especially the pizza, was so yummy and service was amazing! To top it off they have a bar with so many choices. Most def will be coming back! Loved this place so much!!
We stopped in just from walking by. The floor was quite unclean looking but the tables and bar were very clean. Also the fish tanks were very dirty. In their defense, they didn’t appear to have fish in them. But the food was very good! We ordered 3 different dishes and all were very tasty. So if you are looking for a casual place with good food this is a great choice.
Terrible experience. Charged my wife $24 a glass for CK Mondavi wine which is less than $10 a bottle. However, beer and bourbon prices were high, but not much more than anywhere else in the USA. Nachos were normal price too and really good. The wine price was a scam and they knew it. After complaining, one of the girls reduced the price to $8 a glass. Drunk customers sided with the bar at least at first. Think about it though , when have you paid $24 a glass for a cheap cheap wine. They did it on purpose thinking I was just a rich tourist who would pay the bill. Terrible for America. Never saw this ever in USA. Since I already paid on debit card (I am used to honesty and decency in people so I throw my card down and assume everything should be OK, but upon the card/bill coming back I noticed the SCAM), she gave me $60 back from an ATM (why not cancel and redo the bill, some other SCAM I would think). She knew she was wrong, not her but the blond girl. It was a purposeful scam on her part. That corrected things for us. I still left $20 tip which is more than 20%. Don’t they see that if you are fair people will tip. You don’t need to scam them. By the way, heroin attic was at the bar sleeping. Really nice bartender helped him out. Bathrooms are trash. I’m so upset I’ll not only go back here but I’ll avoid Miami Beach. Totally trash people here. Not good Americans.
This is a legit dive bar. The cloudy fish tanks, that unique aroma of stuff… you get it. Staff behind the bar and I. The kitchen work hard but are always smiling and friendly.
Bartender was super cool, let us play barbie girl. Philly cheese steak was great. Fries could've used some seasoning. Whiskey and coke hit just right ✅️
Didn't go for the bar experience but a late night pick-up. Pretty standard pizza and nachos except the sauce on the pizza was a hit and the seasonings on the meat in the nachos was great it gave our meals that little something extra. Service was good.
