Omg, the food here his so good. I'm definitely coming back because I need to eat everything off the menú but I only have one stomach ????. I saw the plates of the people around me, and everything looked amazing! The house sauce is so good too!
We went there for lunch in the 2nd week of November in 2023 and ordered one sandwich for each of us. The sandwiches were large and were quite tasty. The staff were friendly as well. Overall, it was a good experience and we would gladly go back there again.
Hole in the wall breakfast & lunch place with diner type food that isn’t soaked in grease! Tastes like home cooking! Family owned and a favorite with locals, I’m glad I stopped in. Ordered the breakfast bowl with spicy cheese and it was amazing. Decent prices with huge portions. I’ll be back!
Family of 4 in town for Easter weekend. Stopped at Beach Road Round-Up for an excellent breakfast. Service was fast and very friendly. Food was delicious and loved the big mugs of coffee. Loved hearing the tunes softly coming from the kitchen too! We arrived when they first opened and they were almost full by the time we left 45 minutes later. Prices were exceptionally reasonable. Would be happy to return any time!
The food and customer service were great! First time visiting the Island and we are enjoying the experience. The simple menu used quality ingredients and everything had a good flavor (turkey sausage and pancakes were yummy).
Do not come here! The service is absolutely horrible. We walked in the door and stood there for a bit and the staff just looked at us and ignored us. Someone could have simply said we will be right with you. Then we order our food and drinks and go to our table. After about 25 minutes we still didn't even have drinks. I had to go to ask for the drinks (a few waters) and then they came about 10 min later. Then we had to wait OVER AN HOUR for our food! They were rude and said I can't make the kitchen go any faster. Do not come here! We wasted over 3 1/2 hours of our day on vacation at this place.
Overall it was a decent visit, the owner/manager was very nice and personable. It's small inside so seating is limited but they do offer some outdoor seating. The parking situation is bad, especially when you get 3-4 larger vehicles, double parked cars, vans, trucks, suv, there is no space for anyone else to park.
As far as food, I ordered the veggie omelet and it wasn't done all the way through in several spots and I didn't care for the turkey sausage links. The potatoes and pancakes were tasty though.
They have a sign up stating they are short staffed, however as I mentioned to the owner/manager, I honestly could not tell they were understaffed as the wait time was no longer than anywhere else.
Considering it is one of few restaurants on the island, their food selection is good if you're looking to dine out for breakfast.
For those saying your wait is long, this is not a McDonald’s. You get actual delicious food that is fresh. The owner is cool as hell, talks to everyone. She acts like she cares, genuinely interacts and makes sure you’re happy. Don’t be afraid to approach her. Cheesesteak and fries are top shelf, you get a good amount of food too. Wife loved the burger. This is an embodiment of island I grew up loving to come to, just a homey place. This is not New York City, SLOW DOWN AND ENJOY IT
