We walked by this place and it looked so interesting that we could not resist. Our parking was about to expire so we had to get take out. Otherwise we would have liked to eat in as the person who worked there was so friendly and helpful in choosing out our meals. We took a lunch special Gangnam style and a bowl and took it to a nearby park. The food was just great.
bb.q chicken definitely has some of the best fried chicken i’ve ever had, it’s so good that i’ve ordered from them 4 days in a row, every flavor is great especially soy garlic and gangjeong, and they don’t skimp on the portion or quality of meat, definitely recommend this place
Authentic Korean culture experience. The inside has kpop music videos and Korean television playing, with a nice selection of imported drinks.
The chicken is juicy and delicious. Be prepared to wait for it! The cost reflects the quality: you're getting true Korean BBQ chicken here in Connecticut. That beats paying for a trip to Korea to get the same thing :)
DISGUSTING, I received meat that wasn't even chicken. DO NOT EAT HERE. I wanted to avoid writing this review if I had simply received a refund for this disgusting food. Since the customer service refused to respond to my request for a refund, I'd like to share these photos so folks know what food they're purchasing. I knew as soon as I tasted it that something wasn't right. It did not taste like chicken meat. I shared with my husband and a few coworkers, who all agreed it was terrible and didn't seem to be chicken. Would anyone eat food looking like this? There is no way it was chicken. A complete waste of $38 and even worse, the company not taking responsibility by simply refunding me.
Look, this is the best Fried Chicken in CT full stop. Great food, great service, great vibe. You need to stop in and have the Honey Garlic wings. I can't get enough!
I came back when it went under new management. Joseph is the new manager and he's awesome! Food is as fresh and delicious as ever. If you like spicy, ask for the Mala wings!
Had this as my birthday dinner recently and it was immaculate.
Excellent service, delicious food, chill place to hang while it was getting ready (was a big order, handled great). Was given water while waiting. Very friendly staff. Got free fries. Five stars and well deserved. Big recommend.
I came down from San Fran to visit my family and we were all craving some Korean chicken. Eventually, we came across BBQ Chicken in Newhall and went in. The service was very nice and the food came out in a mannerly time. Once we got home, we couldn’t resist the smell of the chicken and dug right into the food. This place was very delicious and fulfilled my families stomach to the point we couldn’t walk anymore. I would definitely go again, and if your ever in the area, definitely check this place out ;)
Chicken is not cooked enough whatsoever and too liquid-like for chicken. Not even cripsy at all and just tastes fatty. You don't get decent quality food for the price. Which is a surprise since the BBQ in k-town NYC is 10x better and its literally part of the same chain!!! Its the same restaurant!! Yet this one taste completely different and has horrible quality. Learned my lesson to stop eating here after the second time.
