It's definitely a dive bar, with locals. Great atmosphere, staff is quick in service, great prices. Will definitely be back.
This place is not for posers, wannabees or part-timers. The bar is the same as I remembered in 1992, a little dark with nothing but locals enjoying the cold beers and good friends that understand your day's issues more than most would. The food is held to a high standard that only 30+ years of business could produce. Beverly the bartender served me drinks when I was barely legal and is still pouring the best beers now. A little smokey but just like I remember on my way to a warrant show in 1993 so they get a pass. Great prices and great food are the norm here, take advantage.
BBs has been taken over by new ownership, 100% remodeled with a modern and beautiful decor. It’s not the “lipstick on a pig“ remodel that sometimes happens, this is the real deal. It is now called “The Boulevard“ and they have great food, an expanded menu, very good prices and attentive/friendly wait staff and bartenders. It’s now non-smoking inside but they have a table outside if you want to take a smoke break. On the west end of that shopping strip (60 second walk) is an inside smoking bar called Majors. Don’t let negative reviews of the former “BBs“ dissuade you from going to this new and wonderful Bar and Grill.
Prices are good. Typical hole in the wall bar. Food wasn't bad, but typical bar food. Order was messed up, but that was ok. Issue was we were sitting at a table and they switched bartenders. The new one wouldn't come over that they only order from the bar. And the out going bartender was super nasty about paying the bill with her before she left. Which I get, but you can be nice about it. I would go back to see the people was with to see, but not just to go in for a drink.
Standard bar, in a good way. Music, good liquor selection, pool table and games. Bartender(s) were cool. Since it my only time ever at this joint, I don't know if a couple of the drunks were regulars or not... but it has to be acknowledged despite being our only knock on the place, because it was quite annoying.
Bartenders and patrons the best... food is always top notch!
Problems are creeping in... 14 beer taps and only 2 drafts available. Liquor is running out or out of stock... last 2 months or so.
Best dive in town, hoping it doesn’t go under.
Shot and beer bar. Was suprised to see everyone smoking. My state doesn't allow smoking in public places. The menu I was given was very dirty and needed to be wiped down before use. The waitress was prompt though and my drink was good.
No food at the moment. Still nice down home atmosphere with poker night, Darts and pool tables. I can see this as a future hang out spot... Still wish they had food. But I'm sure that will be back soon
