I've used this salon for only 6 months and Peter has done a good job on my hair so far. I get compliments at work with my haircut and hair color. He has a unique style of doing layered haircut. He also gives me reasonable price.
I came here today to have my 11yr old daughters hair trimmed. I usually have Nancy do mine or my daughter's hair. I decided to give one the other workers man with spiked blonde hair a try. I ended getting ripped off! First he acted like he did not know how to cut hair by trimming it with a shaver and having to ironing it to see if it was straight even thou I said I did not want her hair ironed. He kept cutting it so strangly dry and snipping a piece here and there. Looks cricked and kept saying it was evening. Then proceeds to charge me $35 for men or women! I said childs hair says $18 he then says that's for 5 and under. It doesn't state that. I wasn't charged that when she was 10. I will never go back.
I am horrified and angry of whole ordeal.

When i went in for a simple root and toner touch up with a light grey tint, a the young man who I was told would be doing my hair spoke with me and showed me the hair swatches they have explaining I could not possibly have the grey tint I've requested
(Its more for people who were born blond) he said.
..... I was born blond....???????? .
He told me that my roots have grown out to much & would need to be bleached to match, .. okay that's fine I told him But!
And I quote:
Please Dont Bleach my Ends they are healing already.
He said okay then started, I watched for a bit, finding it odd that he parted my hair in sections then parted the sections in highlight layers? But only for the back bottom half of my head? ???? ? .... as I watched thinking well he works in a salon and must know more then me...
I continued to watch, after parting was done he moved on to the bleaching of my roots right? Wrong! He started in the middle applying a chunk of bleach and working his way up to about 1 inch from my scalp completely missing the Roots......? SMH
He then folds the foil bottom up and makes sure to wipe down my ends with bleach... continue folding foil and so on for my whole head.... then moves on to the next customer, as I sit with bech in my hair for at least 12/15 mins extremely twitching my foot as it was burning and itching like crazy, he stopped curling the other customers hair to take me to the sink where he washed out the bleach and sat me up at the wash station to then apply the bleach to the roots???
Witch he immediately washed out after application..?....
Beforapplying the toner I showed him a picture of me a month prior with the color I was requesting.... he assured me that he was doing the lightest possible with out yellow..
When we washed out the toner I could tell something was wrong, he called a lady over for advice and she advised two different treatments that needed to sit in my hair for 15 min each, then they offered a hair cut witch I declined.
4 HOURS & Roughly $126.00 Dollars Later I drove home feeling sad for some reason... it just was not what wanted at all, I didnt or couldn't speak up for some reason. I got home and spoke with my husband and some girl friends about how I should handle this situation? Refund they all say, go back there and show them your ends? And roots? Ask for the manager!.. I debated with them.. the salon did have to use products and he spent 4 hrs time trying his best I guess? My hair was completely fried, dead & breaking off ???????????? I dont know what to do..????????#HELP .....LOL
A CURRENT Beauty College friend of mine drove to my house after seeing the damage on social media and offered to fix it for me hear are the beginning & after photos of this crazy day! Thanks....
P.s ..... the manager has apologized and has offered other services to make up for it and I forgive them! Accidents happen..????☺
I showed the lady the cut I wanted and she didn't know how so she just used her machine and scissors.
Makeshift street side salon. Go at your own risk with fingers crossed. Price increases every month.
My haircut was okay, but my girlfriends haircut was horrible. The man that cut her hair took off a significant length without consulting with her when all she had asked for was to remove damage at the ends. Not only that but his work was uneven. Looking at how he cut it, it seems he was focused on removing all of her balayage and then tried to shape it. Her layers are uneven in length and overall the cut isn't symmetrical. I'm confused at what if any method was used to cut her hair.
My girlfriend went in for a trim with long hair and now her hair is barely past her shoulders. She feels violated, angry, and sad.
I had about 6 inches of hair when i came in and i asked for a trim. they cut off 5 inches i barely have an inch of hair now. these photos are before and after
I went in with long hair for a trim and lost over 6 inches of length (he also layered it and my shortest layer is now near my shoulder). I asked to get the tips trimmed due to color damage but the hairdresser cut off any hair that had color. That was completely unnecessary and unexpected.
Update: Looking at the layers he gave me, they're very uneven. My shortest layer is above my shoulder and weirdly it's shorter and thinner in the back middle than on the sides. It looks like his approach was to cut any part of my hair that had color, and then he tried to patch it up. I'm going to a different salon to try to get it fixed.
Tldr: Don't do it!!
