Awesome beer and pizza!! The pizza crust was uniquely crisp and delicious. We ordered the Margarita Pizza and added Italian Sausage to half. It was so delicious and the fresh basil was plentiful!!
Always great pizza. I usually get the Mediterranean or the Mexican style pizza with the chorizo is just so flavorful and spicy and the texture is just perfect. I love the fresh ingredients on the pizzas that they use. The thin crust is cooked to perfection and is perfectly crunchy.
Nice little pizza place. Staff was friendly and we got seated quickly. Sam was great, always smiling and chatty. My sister is a regular there and knows Sam. She loves the garden pizza. We both had the cob salad which was great. I had the Basbeaux special with sausage. It was 75% great. The 25% either didn't have any sausage, sauce, or cheesy garlic.
The ENTIRE staff makes the atmosphere laid back, down to earth, and so welcoming. Their service is the cherry of top to their fantastic food. You can taste the love it’s made with.
The pizza was okay. It tasted like movie theater pizza at best. Also when we first arrived, there was a sign on the podium that said wait to be seated. So my boyfriend and I sat there waiting for someone to greet and seat us. No one ever came over, despite them making eye contact with us several times. Eventually another couple came in and sat themselves wherever. We eventually followed their lead and sat down. Only then, did a server finally come over. This was kind of annoying. They should really take that sign down.
At first I was not impressed with the how the pizza looked. However, WOW! I was pleasantly surprised with the super crispy crust, fresh ingredients, plenty of sauce, and cheese. Loves the super fresh basil and the sun-dried tomatoes, they were bomb. Overall excellent pizza experience! Service friendly, quick. atmosphere quiet with good music!. Not your traditional Italian music.
The pizza at Bazbeaux was not bad and crispy. It was a little different from my preferred thin crust experience(I like a crispy and buttered crust with lots of sauce), but it was good. We dined on a weekend with no reservation, and we're immediately seated. The side near the Massachusetts entrance has tables arranged very close, and it makes it difficult to be seated or get around if needed. The other side seemed to have a little more space, but it was tight. Our server was nice and attentive. We would probably go again the next time we visit Indy because of familiarity.
We traveled 70 miles for the pizza. We weren't disappointed. Great service and the food was delicious!
