So my stepfather was rushed to this hospital. The ER was very busy. The staff was heads down and working. It's that they are understaffed. However, the nurses did take care of my stepfather. We did not get any updates on what was going on with him as I thought we should. The only way we started getting answers was when we stopped them to ask. In my 9 hours of being there, not one doctor came to talk to us. The icu nurse gave me an update. Although they were very busy, my only gripe is the communication. They didn't do a good job of it. Parking was free, and I actually found a good spot.
My mom came in with a referrel by wound dr.... now they are treating her for heart condition that was already controlled and addressed 2 weeks prior to coming here. Her infection 9days later still the same.... no baths or clean sheets daily just terrible!!!
Housekeeping needs additional training. The lady didn't wipe off the table, clean the toilet or the shower. Just emptied the trash and mopped the middle of the floor. When I asked her to wipe off the over bed table she looked at me and said okay but she never did. I asked her in Spanish and she asked me where did I learn Spanish. Security was nice and tight. The nurses aides were terrible when they would answer a call they would go sit down and talk. Had to ask them several times for things before they would do it. Nurses need to listen more and talk less. Dietary did an excellent job.
Terrible nurses my mother is disabled and they had the audacity to make fun of her and blame her for how she is. they gave her nasty water and had stuff in it. The nurse threw the hospital phone on my mom foot which has a open wound and laughed at the fact they starved her for 2 days for a surgery that they canceled twice.
They have greatly improved the staff are helpful the food is much better the environment is pleasant
Horrible...went in for shortness of breath. .left still gasping for air...ran tests took blood and the only time I talked to a doctor which was Dr. Agbabiaka, Tinuola, was when she discharged me. How can you treat patients you never speak too??
I'm here with my brother at the hospital and the staff is very kind and sweet and respectful they do there job and go on with there day. And I appreciate it alot
Only second to Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. I am a Disabled Vietnam Veteran that come to Houston Texas for my medical care, only because of the quality of service and the medical professionals that I have come in contact with. I am a patient for life at this Medical Center.
