One of the best Po boys I’ve ever had, very nice and attentive employees. Got the peanut bars as well delicious
I was determined to find the perfect shrimp po’boy while visiting Louisiana and this amazing little place delivered. We ended up making the detour two days in a row because I liked it so much.
The shrimp po’boy was a revelation. Coming from the mountain west, I have never had popcorn shrimp that plump, fresh and perfectly battered. The fish sandwich I had the next day was equally good. And don’t just take my word for it — many of the diners appeared to be locals whose orders the manager already knew. She greeted everybody with friendliness and familiarity without sacrificing speed of service.
I’m so glad we made this stop. If you’re lucky enough to find yourself in Houma, Louisiana, I hope you find your way to Bayou Blue Po-boys.
I ordered a large roast beef poboy and french fries for lunch today. I really enjoyed what I ordered! The poboy was hot, sloppy, and flavorful like they should be. I figured this place was good when I saw all of the cars outside! The customer service was really good too! The lady running the register was really sweet. Even though they were slammed she was friendly to everyone! I'll definitely return here!
Tried a shrimp poboy and it'll be the last time. I get what popcorn shrimp are but the shrimp on mine looked and tasted like those little dried shrimp in the bag. They even put ketchup on the bottom bun to try to mask the flavor...didn't work though.
Roast beef poboy is probably the best I've had in this area. Onion rings were thin and crispy

Probably the best Shrimp Po' Boy I've ever eaten. Soft bun, LOTS of shrimp, good mayo, ketchup, lettuce, and tomato. If memory serves me right, the only thing they have on the menu is Po' Boys. Would definitely eat here again given the chance. I remember they closed at a weird time too like 2pm or so. They might be a lunchtime only kind of restaurant.
Great dive to indulge yourself with a tasty Po-Boy Sandwich.

Fantastic,Delicious and Outstanding,the Best shrimp poboy in Houma-hands down,the bread was soft(it reminded me of The French Loaf)and the shrimp were fried to perfection,i smiled and danced in my chair as i chewed my food????????,there aren't enough words to describe the happy feeling my stomach felt,staff was Awesome and Extremely Friendly, family owned and operated.
