Get your popcorn ready. I checked out of this nasty hotel at 7:15 am. I asked for my $100 cash deposit back & the male clerk told me I would have to talk to the manager and she wasn’t at work yet. I said cool, I’ll be back. I returned at 12:30 pm. A black lady from outside was eating noodles and she told me she was the general manager & how could she help me. I said I came to get my deposit. She said she would assist me. So at the counter, she was trying to get in the safe but couldn’t. So a white lady told her to let her behind the counter & she would help me. The white lady told me ‘she heard about me & was I the early check out.’ I said yes I checked out early. She gave me my deposit back & I said thank you. I walked out to my vehicle and drove across the street to Casey’s to gas up. As I was gassing up, 3 police surrounded my vehicle & stated they received a report and call from the Baymont Inn that I was looking suspicious, making threats, pacing back & forth in the parking lot, retaliation.’ So the police arrested me, searched my vehicle, impounded my vehicle. I stayed in jail for 3 days behind this LIE. Also the police wrote a trespassing order against me stating I was banned from every hotel in Brooklyn Center. Discrimination & Profiling at its best. With that said don’t book this hotel. Rooms are extremely nasty. $100 cash deposit smh.
Would not recommend. It was not a pleasant experience and very similar to the one star experiences below.
Front desk has been very helpful and courteous BUT this doesn't help you if:
- Bathroom door knob is missing
- A/C not working
- No Ice in vending machines
- No Water, No Juice in breakfast and 1-3 yogurt
They keep photocopy of your credit card and don't return it.
Not a enjoyable experience with family.

Made reservations with Tanisha who was very pleasant over the phone, checked in with Ron who was so helpful and kind, such a hard worker!
The shower water was HOT, the hotel was full with baseball team kids and we couldn’t believe how quiet it was, we fell asleep right away.
In the morning I met Tanisha who was so nice! My boys ate breakfast while I chatted a bit with the lady who tended to the breakfast area, one of the nicest ladies I have ever met. For those complaining about the hotel, this isn’t the Hilton, you’re not paying $240 a night, it’s not perfect, sure it could be updated in a few places but it wouldn’t be affordable and again you’re not paying $240+ per night.
If you want affordable, with a huge pool, hot breakfast, convenient location and some of the nicest people, this is your spot.
Customer service did not exist at this hotel. In our vast travels, we have never shown up to our room and had no towels. After 3 requests I had to go to the front desk and get them. They gave me one. One! For two guests. No trash cans in the room. Unsupervised kids in the pool, which we didn't bother using. Clean rooms, however quite a bit of trash in the hallways.
We checked in on a Friday night. We had to wait behind a handful of people as there was only one front desk employee and she stated the entire hotel was booked out. The hallways smelled like pot. Our room was pretty dirty, with hair in the tub and black mold in the shower. We were also given no towels. We slept there that night and went out for the day Saturday. When we got back our entire bathroom was flooded from the toilet leaking around the base. They moved us into a new room across the hall which they stated was the only room available. This room had towels and was MUCH cleaner than the original. It did still have mold in the shower though. We booked this hotel months ago and the reviews only started to get bad the closer it got to our trip. We had a non refundable stay otherwise we would have left immediately.
Positive: The staff was nice. The room was not dirty. Breakfast eggs were good. Negative: We had to request towels and wash clothes 3 times. Staff couldn't say when the pool would be up. Curtains don't close for night privacy. Fridge was unclean and sticky. Automatic door was not operational. Turkey bacon is gross. Only 1st floor ice worked. Negative: ""
I have no good things to say about this place… First off it’s supposed to be a smoke free facility and it smelt terrible like cigarettes and weed. The hot tub was down and the pool was filthy. The pool had tons of ladybugs all over in it. Our original room we booked had no tv remote and wouldn’t work. The bathroom was filthy and the floors in the room weren’t clean. They moved us rooms and same thing, the floors were filthy, the comforters were all stained. The shower curtain had black mold all over it. The juice machine for breakfast was down. They ended up closing down the pool one of the days so we went to another pool nearby. The hot water kept shutting off and the excuse was “ we are over booked and lots of people are using the water” they also only gave us 2 towels for a family of 6 and when I asked for more they said they had none cause everyone was using them! I absolutely will NEVER STAY AGAIN!

Where to start... We had 3 families come in from different directions to this hotel for an event. 5 adults total.
Water in the building: their hot water system barely works. Cold to barely warm water at best. Hot water works randomly.
No toiletries, or a few random in the room upon entering rooms. Two rooms had no towels. The bedding n sheets some were missing on the beds. Some looked like they had bad stains like not washed, but they claim they all been washed. One of the rooms bathtub faucet had running water you could not shut it off, it was a steady flow. Wall paper were peeling in one room. Ceiling tiles in bathroom missing. Missing door numbers and no direction help for rooms on floors. In the employees words: front desk and housekeepers they had no towels or bedding left. Pillows were super flat. 3 pillows for a king bed. They did however after doing the laundry left some out for me, In their defense, but management needs to get new linens! They were however pleasant to talk to. They did try to come up n fix the bathtub faucet, it went back to the steady flow. If they aren't concerned not our problem.
They had no control on other customers and their behaviors. Tons of kids n customers running through the halls loud music on until 2-3 am. Their only excuse when complaining is that thank you for letting them know so in future they will not let them ever rebook in future. This was happening on 2 floors. Pool was over crowded. I think they allow birthday parties. Be prepared for that. Kids were so rowdy. I love kids, but they let them run loose in halls n no respect for other customers. We did not set foot in the pool.
Breakfast was a joke. Nasty eggs n bacon. No juice. Only one yogurt available. Bread. Cereal. Milk. Coffee. That's it folks.
