I’ve taken my 4Runner there twice now, most recently for windshield replacement, and had such a great experience. They’re trustworthy, have quick turnaround, and their mechanics are friendly and knowledgeable. Sal took care of me, listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. I really appreciate having this auto shop in my neighborhood!

I'm am senior citizen just moved to this area 2 years ago. When my car broke down Bays was highly recommended to me and did not disappoint. Sal and everyone very friendly and wonderful to work with. This was the best experience I ever had in needing car repair. Bay’s team of car mechanics are instantly friendly, upfront, extremely knowledgeable, and honest. At a moment’s notice the whole team jogged out to help push my car into the shop which caused zero inconvenience to other drivers on the street. David was able to diagnose my vehicle issue with just a description of the sound it was making and verified it by hand, double checking that other suspect parts were not part of the problem. His enthusiasm to get it fixed matched my hope that it could be saved. It’s a high mileage car in otherwise good shape and to me worth keeping up. I’m glad to know I can count on these guys to tell me when to give up on it or keep it going which seems to be their preference too but only because it’s fun! Thanks guys!

I just moved here from Colorado and it’s always stressful trying to find an auto shop that you can trust - especially as a younger woman. I had a great experience here! They kept me updated with the progress of my car and sent me photos of anything they found that should be repaired. I was surprised how quick the work was done as I usually have to leave my car at the shop for a day or two. I will be back in the future and I trust them to keep my old Camry on the road!

Excellent and established mechanic shop. Sal, who has taken over for Bay, is reliable and honest. The team has always had a good vibe, high morale. Downtown Ballard wouldn’t be the same without them!

Visited this store for an annual DOT had the pleasure of doing business with one of America's finest. His name is Dave an older humble veteran treated me like a shipmate and did his job by the book no short cuts

Sal bought Bay's Auto last year, brought in the dream team, and is upping the ante with good communication, honest work, and a clean shop. Sometimes I even see Bay working there when he misses it, smiling from under a hood, looking like he's enjoying wrenching while Sal man's the phone and computer. Good people, good work!
