Wonderful little FBO with some of the friendliest people! Snacks for the pilots, gas, courtesy car and even toiletries if needed! So happy we stopped in! Dream Flights thanks you for your hospitality!
A week ago I picked up a used Searey amphibian plane in Plant City, FL (not far from Tampa) and began my flight home with it to South Padre Island TX. I covered 1,300 miles and stopped at 8 airports along the way. The Bay Minette FBO facilities and staff was far and away the best of this trip. The gentleman on duty on Sunday when I arrived took care of fueling the plane, cooking me a burger and getting me settled in the flight plan room then got me hooked up with the courtesy car. He was extremely helpful, polite and quick. This is a very nice facility with great staff and the coke machine and snacks were very much appreciated. Well worth the stop if you're in this neck of the woods.
Our experience at Baldwin Aviation was excellent. We spent a few hours there waiting on weather to clear. Everyone was friendly and ready to help us. Torie was exceptional when she provided us to and from transportation to a motel in town when we thought we would have to stay overnight. Super nice airport and people.
Recent management changes seem to have everything back on the right track. Kudos to Ashley, TJ, and the crew at Baldwin Aviation for bringing fun, quality service, and great fuel prices back to 1R8! Erin made a new friend and got a cool hat on our visit today.

The best!....hospitality is second to none! Probably the most helpful accommodating and welcoming airport I've been to!
It was shut down and the self service pump didnt work. Luckily I had enough fuel to get to another airport.
Friendly people and great snacks.
