The food is generally good when I have been here and the staff very friendly. Great easy location on the main street. The food is a little spendy for the area and the appetizers are overpriced. The decor is very cool because the place is filled filled with old boats and canoes. Plus there is a many old antique collector boat motors to look at. It can be a little chilly in there in the winter.
My husband and I enjoyed our Valentine’s dinner at the Boathouse! I had the Valentines special of Steak and Lobster. Was cooked perfectly and was so delicious! Our server Jenaya was amazing! She was so kind and sweet and very attentive. We love the Boathouse! Great atmosphere, amazing food and amazing service! Highly recommend!
Great food, great atmosphere, and amazing service. In my many years of eating out I cant say I have ever had such great service. Everything was delivered with perfect timing and was so incredibly delicious. When my drink was empty the waitress was they almost immediately. Highly recommend and the food is great!
This is a place we will travel out of our way to eat at again. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. We loved all the lake decor on the walls. The waitress was very helpful with the menu and giving us time to figure out what we wanted to eat. I ordered a White Russian and i can say it was the best drink i have ever had. They use top shelf liquor and know how to mix a drink! I ordered all but the kitchen sink. All the sauces are made from scratch and delicious! This was so yummy and big proportions. I only ate half as i wanted to try the deserts. We ordered the warmed butter pecan cake with ice cream. So good!!!! We also ordered the new york cheese cake to go. The waitress was sweet and put the rasberry, Carmel and chocolate sauce in containers so we could try them all. The cheese cake was one of the best I've tasted. I will recommend this to anyone going through this area. And we will be back????
First, you couldn't ask for better service. We ordered ultimate smash burgers and onion rings. We also had cocktails. The white Russian was so good and the sex on the beach was the best I've had in thirty years. The onion rings were wonderful and the smash burgers were amazing. The atmosphere is very cool. It's about a two hour drive for us but we will be definitely be back. Thank you for giving us a great afternoon!
The BEST customer service ever!! I will never eat anywhere else in battle lake ???? they were so generous and accommodating! Best food ever
It was our first visit to this darling downtown bistro. We both ordered the smash burger sandwiches which were off the charts delicious. We will return. I am still dreaming about that sandwich.
This is probably the best restaurant I have been to while visiting Battle Lake. The pizzas are exceptional and the apps are really good as well. Drinks are very well made. The enviance is awesome with boats all over the place, a boat keel pouring station for beer taps. Met the owner and he is a super nice guy that you can tell is excited to be there we very day. Staff is very polite and efficient. Cannot wait for Wenonga days next year so I can get another pizza!
