We had an RV emergency on rt 95 in South Carolina. One of our stabilizers came loose and was hanging down, scraping the road. We called Coach Net and they sent Barry to help us. He was incredibly nice and helpful. He was able to temporarily fix the problem, and we were able to continue our travels. Thanks, Barry!
We called Barry as the tech support for our rv said the circuit breaker in our inverter charger was bad. He answered his phone right away, we told him my husband was trying to remove the circuit breaker but was having difficulty. He said he would call us right back, he needed to look at his schedule. He called back and said he could make it at 8 the next morning. Unfortunately it was not the circuit breaker but the unit’s wires were fried. We had to move 3 1/2 hours away that day and order a new part, so Barry was not able to repair our rv. I can only comment on his prompt response (another mobile service said 4 weeks), he was friendly, knowledgeable and was 30 minutes early for the appointment. Thank you Barry!
Man ordered the wrong parts for my camper that I live in I have gone months without being able to use my shower,my stove, my heat or anything.ivehad to pay for showers at a local truck stop because the man has ignored me for months he's a very sorry person and do not recommend you use him when I asked for my money back or asked him to get this special conversion fitting for my water heater he just ignores me after I already had to wait weeks for a water heater pilot control. Please if you value your money and quality service don't use this man
Have been waiting since November for him to come back and fix my mother's jack system on her motorhome. He took the owners manual to figure out the parts he needed. Will not return phone calls or text messages. Trying to get her manual back. Looking for someone else do not use this service. Would not have given a 1 star rating if I could have chosen something less.
January 2023…We called Barry since he serviced the Woodbine, Ga area and told him of the issue with our leveling Jack. He came out to see what the issue was and we advised him we had a warranty and no work could be done until he called it into the warranty company for pre-approval. We gave him all of the information and he said he would call. He said he would look to see if he could get the Jack Leg. He called us later that day to tell us he could get the part to replace the Jack leg but we’d have to pay for the part upfront. That wasn’t an issue for us but he should have mentioned that ahead of time. I asked him then did he get a hold of the warrant company and he said yes. We paid him for the parts and he left. The Jack leg wasn’t in when he said it would be (not his fault) but it came in the following day. Barry said he would call us before he came and he just showed up, good thing we were there because our slides had to come in for him to replace the Jack Leg. He replaced it with some help from the other tech and my husband. He said he didn’t deal with insurances or warranty’s but he would submit the bill and have them reimburse us. He said he’s done this for years. We paid him in cash, got the receipt and have not heard anything from him nor our warranty company. I reached out to Barry via text over a week ago and he said he’d check on it and have heard nothing back. Today I reached out to our warranty company today and they said there is no record of him ever calling and getting pre-approval nor did he submit the invoice. We may not ever get reimbursed for the $790 We paid him. It’s a true shame because he was quick and seemed knowledgeable and we would have loved to keep him in our files for any future issues we may have when in that area. Sad part is we already told many people about him and now we have a sour taste about sharing his business with our family and friends. We do hope this turns out and we get our money back. Lesson learned: I did read others had this issue as well and we should have took their advice. Seems like if no warrant company is involved then it’s not an issue. (Update: After we submitted the info to our warranty company we were able to get refunded. Strickland did finally return a text stating they sent everything needed to them. A lot to go through to get reimbursed.)
Paid 1489.00 for parts in March 2023 Haven't seen this guy love to know how to find him. Today is December 8 2023 nothing I like my Money back
I called Barry and left a message that the refrigerator was not working in my RV. He called me back and discussed a few things I could do that to possibly solve the problem but it needed more attention so he set up service for the next day. He arrived at the designated time and went right to the problem and solved it in ten minutes. He showed me how to fix the problem if it happened again. He was experienced, very cordial and I will use him again if another problem arises.
We needed an air-conditioned replaced last October 2019 ...called Mr. Strickland he came to our RV at Crooked River State Park in St. Mary's, Ga. Gave him a partial payment with the rest of the payment due upon completion of of the install. This was extended warranty work... eventually he returned to complete the install and we paid him the rest of what we owed. Found out the warranty company paid him on 11/28/2019 we have not been reimbursed despite multiple calls and texts to Mr.. Strickland it's January 28, 2020 and we are still due almost 1800.00 so proceed with caution if you call on Mr. Strickland to do work for you!
Update:
Got a check from Mr. Strickland in the full amount owed to us....will update again if there is more drama!
