I was in town for work. This spot is absolutely delicious. The server was friendly and courteous. The burger was moist and flavorful. Their beer options are all local beers domestic is available also.
We celebrated kids birthdays here! We spent more than normal as we let all the kids get ice cream at the end. The kids had chicken tenders, cheese burgers and fries. Adults all had PIZZA and it was amazing! Lots of toppings and GOOEY CHEESE!
My finance, mom and I came here to eat and the good was excellent!! We definitely recommend this place for good food. Now the waitress was horrible and it took a long time to get anything. She didn’t even give us refills!!
We got here just shy from it being 1pm and it’s 2:26pm as I’m writing this and my husband and I haven’t received our food yet. There are 3 other tables by us who are all just observing what’s going on. We were told there’s only two cooks back there and a lot of orders are coming up. Here’s what we observed at one of the table tops. A group of 6 received their food in 3 trips, over 15 minutes apart. The table of 5 also received their food over 15 min apart and coming out with one plate at a time. Thought that was a little odd. The booth behind me received a sandwich 10 min ago and the other 2 are waiting for their food still, why is it normal to not bring everyone’s food at once? He’s being so polite and not eating it and the other table just got up and left after sitting for over an hour. This was our first time coming to this location and I’ll say you will not catch me here again. Our waitress is going around explaining why it’s talking 1 hour and 30 mins to get food and why people still doesn’t have their food.
Update: my food came out cold so I left And my husband took his to go. Off to go somewhere else to eat! We sat for 1 hour and 45 min!
Our group reserved a table ahead of time. The manager was super unprofessional, called one of our guests an a$$hole for asking about food after a more than hour wait. Manager was also seen eating ice cream with a spoon, double dipping, out of the container at bar used to make drinks. After waiting forever for food we left. The manager kept looking at our party exasperated and was heard cussing about us. One waitress was friendly and helpful. Overall terrible experience though. Never tried the food because they couldn’t cook it in over an hour and it wasn’t even busy. Never going back. Wouldn’t recommend
Went in for lunch today after my daughter's graduation, a party of 7 . Got there around 11:45 and left at 2:15. Took awhile to get menus. I waited over 1/2 hour for my drink. One person in our party ordered a shake and we had to ask about it 3 times over the next hour to see if it was coming. We ordered 3 appetizers. 2 came out in decent time, but when we asked about the 3rd it was about 30 minutes after that before we got it. The meals took about an hour and they didn't come out all together. My husband's food didn't come out until we were halfway done eating. He ordered the pulled pork tacos and the tortillas were ice cold. It was almost like then forgot it and threw it together without warming it. Then after we were done eating we waited and waited for the server and the check. Basically we never saw the waitress again. We had to go up to the bar and ask to pay the bill and they cashed us out. No apologies or compensation...nothing.
All in all, the restaurant was obviously short staffed and with there being Kirkwood's graduation right across the street and it being Mother's Day weekend you would think they could have been better prepared. I was a restaurant manager for many years so I totally get it, but NO ONE apologized at any point for anything during our very poor experience and that's what was the most bothersome. We honestly felt ignored. Had we been checked on and communicated to I probably wouldn't be giving this poor review. Good service and attentiveness goes a long way in situations like this. Don't ignore your customers and maybe apologize when things aren't going the way they should.
This review is based solely on my delivery order. First off half my order didn't come. Second see picture. If this is what they value for $15 I'll make sure to never eat here again. What a joke.
I will say that I don't normally do reviews. So for me to say this was not a good experience. I will say it was not all on our waitress. The food took close to an hour to come out, and we did not get all of it. What I mean is they sent out my husband's and my food out first then 10 min go by and then my sons my other two kids did not get their food until we left. I would also add they were not that busy. The food was ok not the best. The service started strong. But gradually went down hill. I asked what the soup of the day was. Then the waitress came back later and told me it was something else. It was gross. Then the waitress apologized about the wait on the food and offered to take off the two meals that did not come out yet, and the soup because I did not eat it. Then she came back and said her manager is only giving us 50% off each meal. At this point I did not care. so we paid the bill and left. We will be in this area for the next three days, and we will not go back.
