Had a fantastic time here doing the cocktail flight experience! Drinks were imaginative, fun and delicious. The snacks were just as much as well. Service was stellar, all around wonderful time, great date night.
My husband and I came here last year and just went again recently. Last year we did the flight, this year we chose the A la cart option. You can’t go wrong with either or! We enjoyed our time and the mixologist/bartender really cares about their craft in making the cocktails. They are delicious!
Food - it’s small plates you don’t come here for the food but if you need some recommendations the grilled cheese, the wagyu tar tar, the Philly cheese steak.
Drinks - I think it all depends on what you like they have a great cocktail selection from their menu, but they can also serve your vice.
Overall, experience is truly magnificent and ambience is amazing. Can’t wait to go back!
OMG. Bar. Mini. My new favorite bar in DC, it is so lowkey, so cute, and so sophisticated. I went for my birthday and got the cocktail flight, and returned again for a la carte to celebrate my organization’s Founders day. The service is impeccable, and the staff is knowledgeable. When I got the flight a lot of the drinks were very strong. Out of the 6 I only loved one, liked 3, and didn’t like two. I wish I requested for my drinks to be less spirit forward and sweeter where they could. I may like a flight in the summer better than the winter. Even though I wasn’t in love with all of the drinks in the flight, the service, and ambiance was soooo good. I feel like the a la carte is better because you can choose exactly what you like. When we came for the a la carte I loved all my drinks. Every drink we had may not be available be ause they often make changes but I will list some of my faves.

Wow wow wow, what an amazing experience. Let me start by saying I don’t like cocktails. I usually only drink wine. But my good friend loves cocktails so I treated her for her birthday. We had the best time ever! The cocktails were so good! The service and presentation of each cocktail was even better. They were extremely punctual and times out the cocktails perfectly. We were done exactly when our time was up but never felt rushed. I can’t believe it myself, but I will be back. Worth every penny!
Ambience was very relaxing with whites all over. Contemporary setting. The place was small but didn’t feel crowded.
The service staff was very friendly and always had a smile.
Out of 6 drinks, I liked 4. We were given an a complimentary drink as it was an anniversary. No hangover the next day. Definitely worth the buck.
Good as expected was just ok.
Grilled cheese is a must try.
Banana bread could be skipped.
Caviar @$115 was passable. Didn’t have proper texture to it.
This was an incredible experience. Vibe was immaculate, very cool artsy/contemporary space. Service was fantastic, especially the manager/maitre d who managed to squeeze us in after there was a mistake on my end with the reservation! We did a la carte and loved every drink and snack we ordered. The grilled cheese was DELICIOUS.
This place feels like a swanky Speakeasy! Visits are by reservation only. All of the offerings are very thoughtfully created hand-crafted works of art. The flavor combinations are next level - you wouldn't normally think of making cocktails with these unusual ingredients like sesame oil, sherry vinegar, lettuce, or olive oil, but they work! Barmini is all about creative cocktails, so they only offer a few snacks to choose from. The grilled cheese is amazing, though, and comes with a sealed tube of honey mustard sauce! Barmini is definitely an experience - you get to try things you will never see/taste anywhere else. Very fun for a special occasion!
An amazing place full of patient; insightful and kind staff. They know the best drinks, parking spots and best pre-barmimi waiting areas (silver lion) shout out to Hector who hooked my fiance and myself up with a last minute spot and an incredible night. Legit 5 stars just for my suave boy Hector Sanchez changing lives a night at a time, and Selah for being the best damn waitress in DC as knowledgeable as she is charming. 10/10 cheers DC.
