Our driver this year is inconsistent with showing up and being on time. Our driver hit a deer earlier this year and the bus company never notified me. Armstrong canceled school so I made other arrangements to transport my kids and the bus shows up. Bad communication. I called to discuss and it was like no big deal.
The driver my sun had didn't even show up and then they called me and my son a lier and then they we called them and talked to the main person there named Mary and that's when she called me and my son a lier and they told my son principal that there camera failed but are camera is 24/7 and my son sat outside for 30 minutes in the cold. PS Barkers is the worst especially van B106 van drivers name Chris that's the one who didn't show up to pickup my son but van B76 Barb is like the best driver at Barkers bussing
I called them to complain about one of their drivers driving irrational and then saw that she was on the phone with a child on the school van so I left a message and never got a call back
This bus company in our area SUCKS!!!! When driving near the area of Boarts Gas Station or The Villa the drivers will wait until you get right next to them to turn on their lights or they will dive a mile with lights on making traffic stop or slow down and they continue right by. They drive over the yellow line on Glade Run Road and have almost side swiped cars including mine. At stop signs they cut corners so tight that if you are sitting at the stop sign they tell you off or throw hands in the air as if it is your fault they cut the corner short. I drove a bus with autism children on it and had an hour drive to Greensburg and trust me the company I worked for would have NEVER allowed their drivers to do this!!! I respect the bus drivers job but when you take advantage of flashing lights and such because you are driving a bus and transporting children that is just WRONG!!!
Incompetent bus drivers who don’t know where they’re going; Management does not respect their employees (especially the few good ones--I'll admit, there are some); Bus rides are chaotic because drivers won’t enforce any discipline. And when discipline is enforced they punish those who've done nothing for the bad behavior of one or two riders.
Who do they let drive these buses? toddlers? You apparently don’t track speeds. I wouldn’t let my dog ride this bus if he was dying. Train your drivers better.
This place is awful. They dont update there student information and they dont even call the families before the next school year starts to give anyone a pickup time they never picked my daughter up on the first day of school because they ended up going to the wrong address and just sitting there instead of being smart and call the parent. My kid moved down the road at the end of the previous school year to a new adress where they picked her up for the rest of the school year and summer school but the following school year the decided to go to my old adress instead of updating the information with the new adress they picked her up at before. Complete morons. It's like they forget that there actually driving kids
Our children use barker busses they are amazing. Some of the van drivers though are a different story.
