Honestly, one of my favorite places to go in speedway, Indiana, right in the heart of Indianapolis. What an amazing staff. A great bar staff. Unbelievable. Good drinks. Get the Old fashion. Their barbecue's amazing all their food is so good. Honestly though, my favorite thing here though is their tenderloin breaded one but their barbecue is top notch.
I have now been here 3 times each time is amazing, It makes their own in-house BBQ sauces!! The portions are very Generous.
First time here. Great neighborhood vibe. Small place but good fried fish, and they fried it hard just like I asked for. Also, most dinners are under $15.
I would recommend this place for both food and service. We did a pick up but they were pleasant on the phone and helpful with pick up. We loved the apples, mushrooms, brisket, the sauces and the tenderloin sandwich
Great bbq just south of Indianapolis Speedway. It was race weekend, so it was packed, but they did a great job of getting everyone seated and served promptly. The brisket was amazing. Catfish was good, though it wasn't too crispy. Which is understandable, due to the number of people rolling through there. I would bet on any other day, all the food is amazing. They also have a huge selection of bourbon (hence the name).Would definitely visit again.
Barbecue and Bourbon is excellent. One of my favorite spots in Speedway. If your a bourbon person, you won’t be disappointed. The Bourbon list is huge and offers great choices and variety. The food was excellent. From the catfish nuggets to the brisket and everything in between.
It’s relatively small and not many TVs so not necessarily great for larger groups or watching a game, but the bar is a decent size and service is great. Excellent spot for lunch or dinner. I’ll definitely be back.
Came here to grab a bite before heading back home. We sat at the bar as there would have been a 45 minute wait for a table (understandable given the massive influx of people after the eclipse). Our order was taken promptly and the bartender was super helpful and friendly. We ordered the 4 meat platter with pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked sausage, and rib tips, along with mac & cheese and french fries as the sides. Our food was brought out pretty quickly, probably less than 20 minutes. While the sides were just okay, the meat was fantastic. Best smoked sausage I ever had in my life. The pulled pork was tender and flavorful, and the rib tips were amazing. There was a sampling of sauces to choose from, I believe all of them were made in-house. The 7 Pepper sauce was incredible. We ate every single bite and left feeling completely satisfied. I also felt the prices were extremely fair for the high quality of food you get. I highly recommend this restaurant.
My friend and I really enjoyed our food, drinks and visit to Barbecue and Bourbon. Friendly folks rounded out our time there. Their sauces are very tasty and I recommend the Fiesta Corn, rib tips, brisket and catfish. Had a "country time" lemonade drink that was very refreshing. Would stop here again when I'm the area.
