Great food, good salsa and chips though they give you a small container of salsa. The dining area is very small if you plan on eating indoors, and the service was good, but a little slow, I would go back again.
Just got done eating tacos here. Goodness gracious this place is a gem. They are absolutely delicious my wife and I ordered another round to try more tacos. They are out of this world! Please please come and try them! You won't be disappointed. Bonus points for the very friendly service!
This place is legit. Very friendly staff greeted me quickly, followed by chips and my drink. I ordered fizzled lemonade giant mug and blue ???? ???? very yummy and sweet. I tried the Baja fish taco and was impressed very large portion hot and crunchy yummy. Many reviews rave about the Gobernador De Cameron taco so I got one. This taco is not like any taco I have had before ,warm melted cheese with saute onions and shrimp and a sauce that's delicious. I will definitely be going back many other great items to try. I tried guacamole with pineapple,my mistake not their fault, guacamole needs salt not sweet. They have a seafood stew that looks like chipino. I can't wait ????

A nice taco experience for me. I enjoyed a shrimp taco and chased it with a Surf & Turf taco. The salsa isn't all that to look at, but it is exceptional on the taste buds! I will visit again!
Absolutely fantastic food. I’ve been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in this area and this one is by far the best. A little more expensive but totally worth it. I had the fish tacos and shrimp burrito.
We've been to Barba Azul three times in the past year, and each time we've left disappointed. We really wanted to like this place, because we know the owner of El Pollo Rey started up Barba Azul, and we LOVE El Pollo Rey. However, we've given up on Barba Azul. On our last visit, we ordered the grilled fish taco, Baja fish taco, and shrimp ceviche. The grilled fish smelled old and fishy as soon as it came out, and we ended up taking it home to feed to the dog. The Baja fish taco was also very obviously old. The shrimp ceviche had no shrimp in it that I could see -- it had some grey stuff in amongst the salsa that may have been fish or squid, maybe octopus. It was not that good. We visited around 11am on a Friday so maybe we came on a day that did not have fresh fish.
It blows my mind that the fish taco was more expensive than shrimp or octopus tacos . For the portion size and the tortillas not being hand made, 7 dollars is way too much for a simple fish taco.
None the less , Food was fresh and we'll prepared. Fast service. High recommendation.
