Very good drinks, good food! Nice ambience - not too loud. I also think that waiters were very attentive the the needs of our table. I will gladly come back here again!
The food was just ok, I thought. The pizza crust was a bit over cooked and a bit tough and the appetizers were not great. The bread (or ‘crostini’ as it was called on the menu) which was served with the burrata and the steak tartare didn’t taste fresh at all. Lastly, the service could have been better…the waiter was a bit rude and a bit slow. It took a long time to get a drink.
Went for brunch and sat on the patio it was lovely! Small brunch menu but the 2 things we got were amazing! Plus a huge plate of fruit! Great vibes great food! Yummy cappuccinos too!
Honestly, I would not recommend this restaurant due to the fact you have to spend about 3 hours worth of work on a one hour experience with mediocre food. The fries tasted frozen and honestly not good. I couldn't even finish them. And to top off how bad they were, they were I believe 16$... I wouldn't have paid 6$ for them at most. The sodas were 5$ each just for your waiter to never come by again and give a single refill. The glass it comes in too is probably 12 ounces or so, so it disappears fast, but again good luck getting a refill. The pasta is far over priced at about 24-26$ and the noodles were hard and bland. I have had better pasta at home. The only good thing about this place was the atmosphere and pizza. The pizza was 19$, filling, and amazing. The pricing of everything was just insane. Why was a delicious pizza 19$, and garbage fries 16$? If you were to go, the pizza is incredible and worth the price, but anything else is overpriced and the service is mid at best. Expect to wait for refills that never come, excessive minutes for them to bring the check, and even longer for them to come grab the check.
Started off great but once it got busy, service kind of went down. They may need more staff. Food was decent: truffle fries 3/5, margarita pizza with Calabrian chili 4.5/5, rigatoni 4/5, drinks 5/5. We were hoping they could make the gnocchi vegetarian but they already put the sausage in the sauce so they were not able to accommodate. We were excited for dessert but I think I there was a confusion about which table ordered donuts so by the time we finally got our, they were cold and did not taste good.
We came here for lunch during Chicago restaurant week & the food was delicious. Pictured is the Rigatoni Alla Vodka, not pictured is the Caesar salad which was shockingly great - I am very picky with my Caesars but this one was perfect.
I stopped in here on a whim for a quiet Saturday brunch with my mom and partner. The food was pretty decent but nothing more than good for bar food but well portioned for the price/ ingredients. We sat on the 2nd floor and it was beautiful day so all of the windows were open and we got to enjoy the views of the city outside.
The service and atmosphere were really challenging. They had a DJ playing at 12 Noon at club-level volumes which is a choice, but it made it a little difficult to enjoy the meal and felt pretty incongruous with the decor. It didn't help that the server (who had an expensive manicure with long nails, making it challenging for her to pour water) was practically whispering. I would consider stopping by again, but I'd rather sit on the patio or somewhere a little quieter where I could have a conversation.
Honestly might be some of the best food in chicago! We feel in love with this place! ???????????????????? Get the octopus and spheghetti !
