Had an amazing meal at Bar Louie! The cocktails and food were really tasty. The service was great. Plus, it's open late, which was a pleasant surprise to us when our flight came in late.
This place is exactly what you’re looking for in a relaxing tavern/bar type atmosphere at a great mall. The kind of bar that’s a wrap around with plenty of seating for those who don’t want a table, but table seating is also very inviting and comfortable.
I don’t think there is another place with so many desired beers on tap at this establishment; Had my faves even Jai Alai. And I’ve never had better calamari anywhere else in my life . And the sauces that come with it aren’t the norm you get from other establishments. So good!

I visited this restaurant in October, 2023 and was very excited to finally visit because Bar Louie came highly recommended from my girl who generally has very good tastes. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich with a House Salad on the side & the O.G. Mule. The sandwich was only average but not worth the high price tag and the salad was small and average in quality. The O.G. Mule was okay but nothing special. The prices on the menu are too much. There are not even any prices on the cocktails on the menu so you don’t even know what you are paying unless you ask before hand. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant which is not surprising. I think this place tries but comes up short in several areas. Would not recommend and would not go out of my way to come back. Would unfortunately have to say this is the worst restaurant in the International Plaza area. Very disappointing overall.
For Saturday, brunch is the place to go with their unlimited mimosas...

Edited on 05/27/2024: 2 years later, and this place continues to evolve and stays consistently, exceeding expectations regardless of the many changes happening outside of this place's doors every day. Still stand on this place deserving its flowers today.
This is a cool little spot at University mall! Never realized it was there, due to it being sandwiched in between cheesecake factory and Rocco’s Tacos. Food and service were solid! The burgers were cooked well and the menu had a nice variety. They have a happy hour during lunch which is always a plus! I believe that’s why I went to begin with! Prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants. The only downside, was that it was freezing in there! That’s not gonna stop me from going back though
Been here seveal times.. It can be a hit or miss at times. But always had good food. The drinks sometimes can be watered down. Overall I have a good time here. My friend and I meet here since it's a halfway point.

We heard this was a really nice place, so thought we'd give it a try. Pretty nice atmosphere, so it seemed promising. We practically had the bar to ourselves - there was one other couple that left shortly after we arrived and one other person across from us. So you would think the service would be fast. Not even close.
It took forever to get a drink and the drinks were empty longer than they were full because it took so long for a refill. When we were finally asked about ordering food, we hoped that that would at least be worthwhile, and expected it to based on the cost. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre and not worth the high prices.
Honestly, between the ok food, horrible service, and high prices, we left not understanding the hype about this place.
