I don’t get to spend a lot of time in Orlando so I asked a friend for a recommendation of a restaurant with a nice outdoor seating vibe that she loves. This was on the list of her top three and I see why. We really enjoyed our time and arrived before Happy Hour was over. I didn’t know it was a thing but we were able to take advantage of it for several cocktails and we ordered some apps and two pasta dishes that were part of the $12 offer. My Limoncello Margarita was very tasty and our Moscow Mules were as good as I’ve had them. The sausage bread was nice and tender and were loved the sauce in the shrimp scampi appetizer. I love hot dishes so my Diavolo could have been more spicy but the pesto pasta was spot-on. We had a great night and our server was excellent. I don’t remember his name but he’s the one with the unique, beautiful eyes. I already look forward to returning. I saw another table with the grilled country bread and whipped ricotta. I was having food envy so will definitely order that next time.
I recently dined at Bar Italian in Winter Park, and it was an exceptional experience! The salad was absolutely amazing—fresh and full of flavor. The pizza was worth every penny, with a perfect crust and delicious toppings. I also tried the strawberry basil cocktail, which was incredibly tasty and refreshing. The half chicken avocado sandwich and accompanying salad were proportioned just right, making for a satisfying meal. I highly recommend Bar Italian for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!
Love, love, LOVE this restaurant. Younger staff, always friendly, helpful when asked for suggestions & they know their menu. I cannot rave enough about their food (...and Italian food is not my go-to). Decent portions, flavorful and always tasty. My kid does not like mushrooms and loves their Bianco Pizza.
Bar Italia is an amazing restaurant with a great location and atmosphere that is on point. From delicious drinks and appetizers to hands-down fantastic food, it never disappoints. Their happy hour from Monday to Friday, 3-6, and other weekly offers on Martinis and Wine make it even more enticing. Definitely my favorite restaurant!

Bread isn’t offered while you wait for your food. We passed on appetizers as we weren’t very hungry. There is outside seating.
I was very surprised to not see an Alfredo option on the menu. Their menu is available online with prices and their Instagram has pictures of almost every menu item. We spent a total of $48(two plates) & 46 minutes from arriving - leaving.
Had lunch here today. Only issues were salmon was overcooked when I asked for it to be wet inside. Broccolini was very tough and not able to eat. Appetizer was yummy and great ricotta on top. Husband’s dish was supposed to be lemony and had very little lemon flavor. The parm fingerling potatoes were yummy. Our server Erica was charming and delightful. Beautiful interior at this restaurant.

The country bread with Ricotta is a must, Before anything else you need to know that.
As i started writing this they brought us a second round of the ricotta bread for free.
Our service was great, our server recommended the right dishes and took us away from the wrong ones.
The parmesan potatoes were amazing, with a great side of Garlic - Aioli.
Next up is the Pepperoni Pizza. Wow. The Honey elevates this dish beyond expectations. I thought it could have been cooked a bit more but it didn’t hurt the dish.
I also got to taste the pesto spaghetti dish, delightful sauce, more on it from my partner.
Overall a great experience, Truly recommend this Orlando Gem!
Partner Review: I ordered the Pesto with shrimp instead of chicken, and It really elevated the dish. The sauce was the perfect combination of creamy and satisfying in pesto flavor. It came with bread cut in the shape of a heart and I adored that thoughtful touch. The noodle is more on the thicker side, but if that doesn’t bother you, it’s a dish i would highly recommend!
My husband and I were in town for my birthday and I was craving Italian food real bad. There were so many options to choose from but the menu at Bar Italia looked promising. I definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking for delicious Italian food in a fun and modern atmosphere. The servers I had were also attentive, friendly and helpful with suggestions. My husband agreed I made a great choice coming here. We planned on trying a different restaurant before we left town but we found ourselves thinking about the food here that we came back for the second time a few days later!
