Best WLM Reviews
Got some take away but was not super impressed. The radish cakes were very doughy and could have used more radish. The sliders were ok but I’m not sure about the herb sauce. Both were saved by the thick brown sauce that came with them
Came here for late dinner after arriving in Pittsburg - surprisingly good and authentic Chinese food prepared by a local. We had the onion pepper beef, pan fried dumpling, sautéed string beans and Taiwanese sausage fried rice and the dishes were all delicious. Portions were pretty big and we even had leftovers for breakfast. Atmosphere is casual.
We recently moved from Cleveland to southeast Ohio. No restaurants of this quality nearby. So we made the 2 hour trip and it was absolutely worth it!! We will definitely return...hopefully sooner rather than later!
Some good lo mein is the perfect way to celebrate the end of a long semester and warm up from an ice storm outside! Though it was my first time here, I was greeted with smiles, like you’d see from an old friend. I wish I had gone here sooner! I recommend this place from the bottom of my heart (and my stomach). :)
This was my first time. The menu had a lot of options. From traditional dishes, rice, noodles, vegetarian and my favorite the dumplings. We had the crystal shrimp and it was delicious. Soup was ok with the beef shank. I would go back and try a few different options
Great food, quick service generous portions. Order extra rice it's worth it.
Will be back next time I'm in the area
Delicious authentic Taiwanese eatery. Traditional favorites of popcorn chicken and rolled pancakes with sliced beef are well prepared. A good variety of dumplings both steamed and pan-fried are also available. Several noodle soups are on the menu. Large selection of blended drinks. Friendly attentive service.
Surprisingly FLAVORFUL AUTHENTIC CHINESE, unlike the adulterated greasy Chinese-style food that pervades America. However, my Chinese and Taiwanese colleagues don’t think it’s Taiwanese at all, nor could tell what regional Chinese cuisine are the food on offer.
Strangely, the menu lists non-Chinese entrees, like Pad Thai and Singapore noodles☹️☹️☹️
The menu also mentions “dim sum” but they’re all dumplings. This is misleading!!!????????????
Dim Sum is part of Cantonese cuisine and very popular in Hongkong. Dim Sum is the Chinese equivalent of tapas (small plates), it is so much more than dumplings.
Nevertheless, the Chinese selections are very very flavorful????????
1. The Dumplings Platter is the best way to sample their various dumplings. Each of the dumpling entrees (steamed or fried) are generous servings.
2. The Stir-fried Shanghai choy is “cleanly” flavorful, simply seasoned in its own juices and quite crunchy.
3. Braised Lion Heads, a terrific meatballs entree, very delicate and flavorful—Very Highly Recommended ????????????
