My good friend Farzana blessed her amazing heart. She invited me here after Friday service. This is my first time eating Bangladeshi food. She ordered Chicken Biriani. MY GOD, I thought I went to heaven. The rice was DELICIOUS, perfectly moist and cooked to perfection. The chicken was succulent, the curry on the chicken, the prunes, and hot peppers on the rice, all goodness. Overall, if I could, I'd give this wonderful place a 10 ???? for the excellent portion of rice, very nice people running the place, friendly and humble. Im a foodie. This is definitely A+ in portion, flavor, and great customer service. Better visit hungry. It is very well worth the trip and the food.
I can't wait to bring my brother to this place.
Nice Bangladeshi foods. Most common and necessary teams for daily work are available in this store. You can dine in and take out. They have home delivery service also.
Bangla Bazar may be the biggest Bangladeshi market carrying Indian and Pakistani groceries and halal meat in Los Angeles. It has undergone major refurbishment and its no longer a dingy little space. The decor is nice and shelves are well stacked and stocked. Nevertheless the food served here is not the best. The food is bland unlike the nearby competitors. The chicken samosas and the patties served here is dry and tasteless.
Best place in Los Angels for having Bangladeshi food. All food are fresh and really test good. People are nice and friendly. Beside restaurant you can buy halal meat and groceries. However they are not 24h open. They close at 2am/ night.
If we, "are what we eat" and we eat here...we'll be beautiful...spicy...tasty...and just plain wonderful!
The grocery section is filled with food treasures from that part of the World.
I love to wander into ethnic shops to explore...see if I can find an exotic "new" discovery.
The Banglideshi's are lovely, friendly people that will welcome...help you explore and choose your meal.
I've eaten here many times over the years and I've never been disappointed.
On 3rd Street...(in Little Bangladesh)...at about Hobart...check it out!
On my top 10..."late night spots"...good to remember!
Went there with high expectations based on Google reviews but really dissapointed with their food, service and quality. Arrived there at 7:30 pm and 70% options from the menu were unavailable by then. However, ordered rice, lentil and chicken and the lentil was spoiled and smelly. When we asked an employee about it he didn't even apologize or compensate. They seriously need to work on their restaurant quality and service. Won't go there ever again.
Basically a Bangladeshi Grocery store at LA. Also you can have great Bangladeshi foods. We had our Breakfast and Lunch at this place and feels like real Deshi food. They have some great sweets and curd(Misti Doi ????). Lots of Deshi food items like chanachur, achar, dal, chips, misti, moshla and so on. Also Deshi kitchen utensils. We went there from Texas and bought Shil-Pata ????. For food items, it's perfect for taste but the environment is not good as restaurant cause No AC no Fans. But the overall food price is cheaper. And you can get a lot deshi food you never imagine. And Cha (tea) was awesome at $1. Friendly stuff as Vai brother. Recommended and we'll be there again whenever we're at LA.
It's a great Bangladeshi grocery and restaurant. We went there really late so the dishes were almost gone. We tried rice, fish, dal, chicken and veg. It was good. They offer free parking and you can get some chai just for a dollar.
